Chapter 715

Chapter 715

Warren walked to Irene and stared pointedly at her. “So this time, you were pregnant with Brayden’schild. You also know that the baby was his, so you deliberately caused a miscarriage in such a way thatyou could get rid of the fetus and frame Amelia, right?”

Compared to Irene’s agitation when she spoke, Warren’s voice and tone were incomparably calm.

However, this calmness was just like an illusion that concealed a turbulent underground current. Oncethe illusion was gone, the turbulence was going to destroy everything in its wake.

Irene’s body stiffened. Her mind almost went blank in the face of Warren’s questioning. Even if shewanted to deny the allegations, the words were stuck in her throat and she could not force them out.

His sharp and cold eyes seemed to see through Irene completely.

“I-I…” Her lips trembled.

Warren then said, “Perhaps you want me to call the doctor who operated on you and force him to tellme how far along the pregnancy was? How old was the fetus then? Or maybe you’d like me to findevidence of how much money you spent to bribe that doctor so that all of this is made clear?”

Irene knew that Warren already had doubts. As long as he actually investigated this, Warren wasdefinitely going to find clues. Irene suddenly hugged Warren and said with choked sobs, “Warren, I justlove you too much. I love you! I-I was a-afraid that you would dislike me because of this, so that’s why Ididn’t tell you!” Irene then added, “But I-I’m also a victim, and I didn’t mean to frame Amelia. That day, Ireally fell down because she pushed me, and happened to have an abortion!”

“Warren, please forgive me. In the past, no matter what I did wrong, you would forgive me, right?”begged Irene. “We’ve been together for all these years, and you swore you would protect me and love

me for the rest of my life!”

The sobbing didn’t arouse the slightest pity or compassion in Warren. If anything, he felt nothing butmockery.

“Forgive you?” Warren suddenly sneered and violently shoved Irene away.

Irene stumbled and hit the wall on one side. Before she could come back to her senses, Warren’s handsuddenly grabbed her neck. His cold expression suddenly turned into some kind of rage, like amercurial shift from ice to fire.

“Irene, how on earth am I supposed to forgive you?” Warren roared. “Why did you lie to me? Why didyou lie to me, claiming that you donated bone marrow to me? It was not you at all! Why did you lie tome about this, when you clearly refused to donate it to me?”

“I…” Irene tried to defend herself, but her throat was constricted and she could hardly say anything.

Seeing this, Thomas and Ivy screamed and shouted for Warren to stop, but they couldn’t get close totheir daughter at all.

Warren’s heart was filled with anger. If it weren’t for the woman in front of him, then maybe everythingwould have been different.

Maybe if he had investigated who the bone marrow donor was, Warren’s encounter with Amelia wouldhave been different.

“Why? Why did you do this? Is it because you were after the glory and wealth that the York family canprovide?” Warren kept asking why over and over again. He behaved like an irrational beast that hadlost his mind as if he could tear this person in front of him whom he hated into pieces the next moment.

Irene’s face turned from red to purple and her tongue began to loll out. If she continued, she wouldhave been strangled alive just like this.

A bodyguard on the side stepped forward to stop Warren when he saw this happening. After all, if therewas a murder case in this hospital, it was going to cause a real ruckus.

Warren finally came to his senses and loosened his grip.

Irene’s legs went weak as she collapsed to the ground.

Warren looked down at Irene condescendingly, his gaze icy. “Irene, I want you to live. You are to liveand suffer. You will have a life far worse than death!”novelbin

This woman pushed Warren into hell with her lies.

But now, he wanted Irene to spend the rest of her life repenting of this crime. After walking out of theward, Warren felt like his heart was being squeezed by something heavy, which made him breathless.

Warren hated Irene for deceiving him, and Irene’s schemes to set Amelia up. He even hated how hemanaged to get himself into this mess.

The Fletcher family started to talk about how he metaphorically stabbed the woman who had saved hislife with an invisible knife.

When he stepped into this ward, the scene of him forcing Amelia to kneel and beg for forgiveness inthis ward flashed in his mind.

The sound of her hands hitting the ground seemed to reverberate in his ears, causing him to feel astinging pain.

Why was he so cruel at that time?

Did he really do it for Irene? Or was he in fact trying to hide his concern for Rosalie by hurting her?

Warren had assumed that Rosalie was toying around with him and that she was only after the Yorkfamily’s riches. That was why she caused Irene’s miscarriage.

Therefore, he became angry and vented all his anger in this way.

Rosalie said he was blind, and she was not wrong in the slightest. Warren could not even tell apart whowas actually deceiving him then.

“M-Mr. York, what Irene did has nothing to do with me. I-I’ve already said what I needed to say. Pleaselet me go.” Brayden then began to beg for mercy.

Brayden had just boarded the plane when someone suddenly caught hold of him and forced him toshow up, telling him to come clean to Warren about Irene’s misdeeds.

If he refused, Brayden was threatened with a lifetime in prison.

He just confessed to everything. If he had known that Irene was going to get him involved, he wouldhave stayed away from Irene.

However, Brayden just could not fathom who was working behind the scenes to capture him. Apartfrom Warren, which other big shot did Irene anger?

At this moment, Brayden was cursing Irene to death in his heart, but he continued to smile at Warren.

“Let it go?” Warren sneered. If he let Brayden go, who was going to let him go? “I don’t care about youand Irene, but you shouldn’t have helped her with the bone marrow donation information and watchedas she messed with Amelia!”

Warren issued a command to his subordinate and said, “Send him to the police station.”

His subordinates grunted in response and left with Brayden.

Before Brayden was taken away, he couldn’t help but yell, “Warren, since you don’t care about me andIrene, why do you care so much about the bone marrow donation? Even if it was Amelia who donatedit, she is just an ordinary woman. Didn’t you send her to prison because of Irene at that time? Are yougoing to play the role of the penitent now?”
