“I don’t doubt it, and that brings us to attacks,” Alpha Nick mentioned, all expressions turned to oneof seriousness.
“Dustin, we are sure of Charlotte’s return, and the charcoal is the main thing to repel her,” AlphaNick recalled and spoke. Then Sheridan gave her suggestion.
“If we get the sign that she’s here with whichever army, it would be ideal for us to also not let her go.I would meet her outside the pack, and Nick, you can order the warriors to lock the gates or defendwhichever enemies come in.”
Alpha Nick disagreed. “Even if you are the one to face her, I would never allow you to do so alone.Dustin and Goldie can take care of the enemies in the pack, and both of us would face Charlotte.”
Sheridan was speechless. “Are you afraid that I can’t defeat her?” novelbin
Alpha Nick chuckled, knowing she was a tough one. “That isn’t the point. I would just be there tocheer you on,” he said, and everyone laughed.
Sheridan pinched him playfully. “I never believed you could crack such jokes at a time like this.”
Alpha Nick shrugged and leaned in. “You look so hot when you put on that serious expression.”
Sheridan’s face was red, climbing to her ears. Dustin and Goldie could only smile at the interaction.
Dustin never saw Alpha Nick so happy in his life, and Goldie never remembered seeing Sheridanblush so much.
Love indeed had the power to change even the most powerful couple. Dustin recalled his role inthe whole thing and stated.
“I would always make sure we have enough charcoal, but I will also task the omegas to beginplanting more trees. During the last attack, we had a lot of fallen trees”
Alpha Nick recalled those attacks. The moment their wolves took over, everything wasdisorganized, and the trees suffered most.

The first time, they got married by contract with a wedding meant for Charlotte. Alpha Nick wantedto give Sheridan everything he never gave, and that included her dignity.
Since she did not want the wedding, the coronation was going to be one of the best the packs everhad.
“I would make sure the warriors are equally always on the alert,” Beta Dustin said solemnly. He toocould not wait for Daisy to be united with her pack.
Fighting with a bunch of people drowned in magic was not going to be easy, but the Dark MoonPack was ready for

Alpha Nick was getting worried, but Sheridan laughed suddenly. “Whoever is the last to reach thepackhouse would do the dishes after lunch. No servants involved.”
She ran away as soon as she said the word, and naturally, even if Alpha Nick did not understandher game, he wanted to be wherever she was and chased after her.
Beta Dustin and Goldie understood it too late, but Goldie was the one to escape first. “Seems likeyou’ll be the one to do the dishes.”
Dustin ran after her, and Goldie almost crashed into Athena. “Who is chasing you?” Athena wasdisturbed, but as Goldie looked around, neither Sheridan nor Alpha Nick was in sight.
“We were just playing a game. Whoever got here last would do the dishes. I guess that falls onDustin.”
Athena chuckled. “It’s true that people don’t really grow. There is still a child in every adult.”
In Alpha Nick’s room, he thought Sheridan was in the bedroom, but there was no indication of her.
“Sherry, where are you?” He asked worriedly. He saw her running to the packhouse, and if she wasnot in the living room or kitchen, then where could she probably be?”
Seemed the game changed to hide and seek. He went to the shower room, but it was empty.Frowning a little, he went to the closet. There was no sign of Sheridan, except that the trainers shewore from earlier were neatly arranged on
the shoe rack.
Alpha Nick slowly removed his trainers, arranging them beside hers. “I know you are in here,Sherry,” he began to open the wardrobes one by one when warm arms wrapped around him.
“I thought you were going to track me with my scent, but seems you are unpredictable.”
Her fingers slipped into his shirt, caressing his firm toned muscles. She leaned in and kissed hisback.
Alpha Nick quickly turned her around. “You love to play, don’t you?” His voice was husky, his gazedark. Sheridan stared into his dark eyes with desire.
“It depends on what you mean by that. I guess you all misunderstood the game.” She bit her lowerlip seductively.
