Chapter 1723

Chapter 1723

Sky was not totally an evildoer. From the conversation they had, James realized that Sky was notprofoundly immoral and wicked. He only wanted to be the most powerful individual in the world.

He said while smiling, “Don’t worry, I can guarantee my own safety even if I don’t stand a chanceagainst that creature.”

Then, he headed in the direction of the cavern.

Soon, he arrived.

The entrance was about three meters in height and two meters in width. Since it was pitch-black inside,he could not see anything.

James cautiously called out, “Sir, are you in there? I have a few questions I’d like to ask…”

However, no one responded.

“I will take your silence as a sign of agreement. I’m entering the cave now…”

Just as he took a step forward…

Swoosh!

The sound of Palm Energy could be heard, and a powerful force came from inside. As James was onhigh alert, he managed to dodge the attack in time.

After the attack, silence fell once more.

James did not dare to recklessly approach the cave. He asked once more, “Sir, may I have a word withyou?”

He waited patiently. However, there was only silence.

Confused, James murmured, “What is that creature? Why is he living in the middle of nowhere? Whydid he remain silent? Could it be that he has lost the ability to speak after remaining here for too long?”

James could not figure this out. After some thinking, he decided to force his way in.

He catalyzed the Nine Scriptures of Ordeals. Instantly, True Nine Ordeals Energy emerged from withinhis body, which swiftly gathered and formed True Heavenly Energy. Then, he catalyzed the InvincibleBody Siddhi. At that moment, his skin turned bronze in color, and a faint bronze halo enveloped thesurface of his body.

After catalyzing the Invincible Body Siddhi, he walked straight into the cave.

Swoosh!novelbin

The Palm Energy came swirling once more.

However, James was prepared this time, so he catalyzed all his True Energy to block the attack head-on.

Boom!

As the two True Energies collided, a deafening blast sent James flying.

Now, James finally knew how powerful the creature inside the cave was.

His arm went limp, and the Blood Energy inside his body churned. Then, he vomited a mouthful ofblood and collapsed to the ground. The excruciating pain almost made him lose consciousness.

After a few seconds, he crawled up from the ground. Although he was uninjured on the surface, thecreature’s powerful force had made him suffer internal injuries.

Sky hurriedly walked over to James and asked, “Is everything alright?”

James wiped the blood trace off his lips and looked at the entrance of the cave. Wearing a grimexpression, he said, “I’m alright. The creature is too strong. He must have crossed into the ninth rank.”

James was now sure that the creature was a ninth rank. Otherwise, he would not have been sent flyingby a single move.

“What should we do now?”

Sky looked at James and asked, “If that creature truly is a ninth rank, he must have existed 1300 yearsago. That would also mean that dragon blood allows one to attain immortality.”

Sky grew increasingly excited. “There’s got to be a dragon here.”
