After a while, Tessa regained her spirit and started her daily routine. Finally, she began her daily practice. Time flew by in a blink of an eyewhile she was immersed in her intense practice session. And thus, another day went by just like that.
In the evening, Tessa received a video call from Timothy after she went hom? and. had her dinner.
Timothy wore a tailored black suit in the video, and he had fastidiously groomed his hair. He looked decent yet gentle with a pair of gold-rimmed glasses on his tall nose bridge.
As Tessa looked at Timothy, who became more and more handsome and reliable through the video call, she suddenly felt that her babybrother was all grown up now. I wonder which girl will be lucky enough to hit the jackpot and win my outstanding brother over in the future.She could not help but start looking forward to it at that thought.
Not knowing she was already indulged in thinking about his future girlfriend, Timothy put up a faint smile on his handsome face. “Tess, whatare you doing?”
“I just finished having my dinner, and you? What are you doing?”
“I just finished my work.”
After that, the siblings chatted for a while. Then, Timothy suddenly said, “Tess, I just flipped through the calendar and realized it’s yourbirthday at the end of this month. So I decided to fly over to celebrate your birthday with you.”
Tessa was stunned, and after counting silently, she realized it really was her birthday at the month’s end. She could not help but sigh. “Timedoes fly! I would have nearly forgotten about it if it wasn’t for your reminder.”
“I knew it! I knew you would have forgotten.” Timothy smiled. “Then, that settles it. I’ll come over and accompany you on your birthday at theend of this month.”

Although Tessa was moved, she did not want Timothy to travel such a long distance. “It’s just a birthday. You don’t have to travel so far forme.”
Timothy refuted as he disagreed with her, “It’s your birthday! Why wouldn’t I do
something special for you?”
“Tim, I know you want to accompany me on my birthday. I truly appreciate this.” She tried to persuade him, “However, your company hasjust started, and it’s still in the developing stages. I think it’s not the right time for you to leave the country suddenly. Moreover, I don’t knowhow much of your work will be piled up by coming all the way here. Have you considered the time for you to travel to and fro, including thedelays in between when you made such a plan?”
However, he still insisted. “No way! It’s your birthday! How can I miss it?”
Truthfully, she was very moved by his words and actions. But, even so, she still did not want him to rush about.
Before she could start speaking again, he added, “Tess, say no more. I’ll definitely be there for your birthday. Although the company isimportant, it’s not as important as you. You’re the most important thing in this world to me! Besides, we had always been celebrating eachother’s birthdays together before. So, there’s no way I will miss it this time!”
After she heard this, her eyes could not help but get teary. She sniffled, and with a hint of a whimper in her voice, she said, “Oh, alright. I’llwait for you on my birthday.”
He nodded agreeably. Then, he switched subjects and talked about some interesting matters, which made her laugh. Only then did he hangup the phone. After the call, he immersed himself in his hefty workload again.
During this period of time, Timothy’s company had developed a tracking and positioning software. However, the whole company was still ina hectic mode as there was still a lot of data that had not been refined.
As the co-owner of this company, Timothy needed to get his hands on many things. Although it was very tough, he enjoyed doing it. He waseven more motivated, especially now that Tessa could chase her dreams.
Later, Henry knocked on the door and entered.
“Tim, here’s the business proposal that Sawyer Group asked for. Here, take a look at it. Then, if there’s no problem with it, bring it over toPresident Sawyer when you go there to discuss matters later.”
As Henry spoke, he handed over a document, and he even sat himself on the desk.
Timothy pushed him off in disdain. “Hey, you’re also the boss of this company. So pay some attention to your image.”
“It’s just the two of us in the office. So why do I have to care about my image?”
Even though Henry said that, he still got off the desk.
Timothy ignored him, picked up the document on the table, and looked through it. After a while, he put down the file and said, “There’s noproblem with the business proposal. I’ll bring it over to Sawyer Group later.”
