Chapter 737

Tamara lifted Yolanda's hand and gently patted it on the back a few times.

“Who else will I allow to treat him if not you? Bailey? The Fletcher family has unresolved grievanceswith that woman. She may be here for revenge. How could I let her get close to my husband?”

Initially, Raiden wanted to chat with Tamara and persuade her earnestly. However, after hearing herwords, he turned around and headed for the door. Even now, Tamara still showed no remorse, whichmeant she was unafraid.

No matter how much Raiden talked to her, she just would not listen. Only by letting Tamara suffer asetback and taste the bitterness of loss will she come to a sudden realization. Upon seeing Raidenleave without saying anything, Tamara was instantly enraged.

“Raiden, what's so great about that woman? She's always surrounded by men. She's a woman of loosemorals, is not worthy of you.” novelbin

“Since you don't think highly of her, let's not have her treat the patient. She's quite busy anyway andeager to leave Dellmoor. I hope you... won't regret it.”

Tamara remained silent.

Inside the bedroom of the presidential suite of the hotel, Zeke squinted at Bailey, who was leaningagainst the head of the bed.

He said in a deep voice, “I just went to visit an elder for less than two hours. How did you manage toturn yourself into such a mess?”

Once Zeke finished speaking, he turned to look at Cameron leaning against the shelf and frowned. Heremarked, “Mr. Yablon, you promised me solemnly that you would protect my sister. Is this the result ofyour protection?”

Cameron snorted coldly.

“I can't help it if she's determined to be reckless. Her legs are attached to her body. What can I do? Tieher up with a dog leash?”

Zeke was speechless. Bailey grabbed the water cup from the bedside table and threw it at Cameron.

“I've always been like this. If you can't stand it, you're more than welcome to get lost. Oh, and beforeyou go, give me back that painting. I don't want to make Artemis angry.”

Cameron laughed out loud due to anger.

“You're such a heartless woman. I'm the only one in this world who protects you, cherishes you, andfears that you may get hurt. And here you are, using Artemis to provoke me. Bailey, has yourconscience been eaten by a dog?”

“It's none of your business!”

Seeing the two were about to start arguing again, Zeke could not help but roll his eyes. Zeke was a bitworried now. He was concerned that the two might end up having feelings for each other through theirconstant bickering.

Ah, it's going to be lively then. What enemy? With the way they're getting along now, they're soharmonious.

Ding!

The doorbell outside rang. Zeke walked out with leisurely steps. A moment later, Zeke returned withRaiden in tow.

Raiden said while walking, “It's my fault I'm too hasty. I shouldn't have taken you to the Fletcherresidence. You worked hard but did not gain any favor and ended up holding in all your frustration.”Bailey scoffed.

“Your mom can't get on my nerves. The reason I'm so frustrated is all because of that woman.”

After saying that, Bailey pointed at Cameron with her outstretched hand, her teeth grinding with acreaking sound. Cameron rolled his eyes.

“Fine, I'm leaving. Are you happy?”

After Cameron left, Raiden continued, “I still want to thank you for this time. But I've also realized thatlife and death are predestined, so let nature take its course.”

Bailey raised her eyebrows with half a smile and said, “Having such an unreasonable mother is indeedyour misfortune, buddy. You and Justin are in the same boat. Don't be disheartened, though. What lifeand death are predestined nonsense? Your dad's life is precious now. We absolutely cannot let him fallinto the hands of Yolanda. It's not worth it.”

Raiden's eyes suddenly lit up, staring straight at Bailey, and asked, “Do you have any good idea?”

Bailey laughed and replied, “At first, when Zain informed me that my senior had come to Dellmoor, Iwas puzzled for quite a while. After all, Josiah took me as his only disciple, so where did this seniorcome from? It was only after meeting Yolanda at the Fletcher residence I suddenly realized Yolanda isJosiah's daughter, which makes her my senior.”

Raiden raised his eyebrows and concluded, “So you admit you're the world's number one hypnotist,Ethereal?”

Bailey glared at Raiden.

“Didn't you already guess it? What's the point of me hiding it? However, I have grievances with Yolandain the past. Her father taught me dream-tailoring skills but didn't teach her. So she's been holding agrudge against me, always wanting to kill me. Given the current situation, it's not right for me to takeaction. Otherwise, your dad may end up tormented to death, with your mom meddling in between.”

Speaking of which, Bailey suddenly stopped uttering.

After a moment of silence, Bailey continued, “How about this... I'll give you a drug that can put yourfather into a coma. The next time Yolanda hypnotizes your father, you secretly administer this drug tohim, creating the illusion that Yolanda has turned him into a vegetative person. So your mother will nolonger trust Yolanda and can experience the pain of losing someone she loves. When the time comes, she will surely come to her senses and ask for my help. At that point, I can step in with fewerobstacles.” Raiden nodded.

“That's a good idea. So, during this time, will you remain in Dellmoor or...” Bailey waved her hand.

“No, I'll be leaving soon. I have more important things to do.”

“Alright, I know you're busy. So, after my father falls into a coma and becomes a vegetative person, I'llcall you then. Will you save him at that point?”

“Yes. Don't worry! My medicine won't cause him any harm. It just creates the illusion of being in avegetative state. Once he takes the antidote, he'll be fine.”

“Okay. You should rest a bit more. I have some matters to attend to, so I'll excuse myself first. I won'tbe able to see you off later.”

“Sure. Be cautious around Yolanda. She has a vicious mind. That's why her father refused to teach herdream-tailoring skills back then. He was afraid she would cause trouble everywhere.”

“Noted.”

After Raiden left, Zeke could not help but ask, “After we leave Dellmoor, are we going back toHallsbay? Or are we going to the Hoffman residence?”

Bailey glanced at the door and answered lightly, “No, we're going to Tarragon Headquarters.”

Zeke was stunned for a moment.

“Why do you want to go to Tarragon? Isn't Artemis doing well there?”

Bailey pursed her lips with her hand hidden under the blanket, slowly clenched into a fist. There weresome things Bailey was still unsure about, but once she went to Tarragon and met Artemis, she shouldbe able to find the answers she sought.

“He's doing well, but I miss him! Is that not okay?” Zeke could not control his laughter.

“Okay, let's go to Tarragon. There's no rush to return to Hallsbay, and we can leave the Hoffman familyalone for now. I'll send you to Tarragon and hand you over to Artemis. That way, I can finally relax.Keeping an eye on you all this time has kept me on edge.”

Bailey was speechless. Bailey lowered her head slightly, and a glint of darkness flickered in her eyes.

Artemis, you're my only home! So no matter where you are, I'll find you.

Outside the suite, after hearing Bailey was going to Tarragon Headquarters, Cameron immediatelymessaged Artemis.

Bailey wants to go to Tarragon to find you. What's your arrangement?

A moment later, the other party sent a text message.

Let her come! I've already made arrangements. By the way, she didn't have an inkling of anything, didshe? Inkling?

Cameron frowned.

I think should not be.

Bailey interrogated Cameron using hypnosis, but the latter believed he had not given anything away.Cameron replied.

No, she doesn't know about your poisoning.
