Chapter 736

Raiden's expression darkened. He was not blind; he could tell that his father and Yolanda were in avery strange state. If they did not hurry up and wake the two, something terrible would definitelyhappen.

“What should we do? Should I knock her out by force?”

After saying that, he paced toward the bedside. Bailey quickly grabbed him, shook her head, and said,“No, you can't do that. The combination of hypnosis and dream-tailoring skill has firmly trapped thepatient's thoughts. If you knock her out, I'm afraid your father may never wake up again, and hiscondition will be just like a vegetative person.”

After hearing the conversation between the two, Tamara suddenly stood up, glaring at Bailey, andshouted, “What do you mean by 'never wake up again'? What do you mean 'like a vegetable person'?What nonsense are you talking about? Are all the bodyguards outside dead? Why did they let her in?”

Bailey smiled coldly and said nonchalantly, “Raiden, I think what you should do now is knock out thatold lady of yours. She's standing there, seemingly getting in the way.”

Tamara's face instantly turned ashen, and she was about to rush forward and start a fight with her.Benson hurriedly reached out to hold her back. novelbin

Lowering his voice, he said, “Mrs. Fletcher, the most important thing right now is to save Mr. Fletcher.”

After saying that, he gestured for two housekeepers to drag Tamara to the side by force. Raiden turnedhis head to look at Bailey and asked, “What should we do?”

Bailey ignored him, striding over to the bedside. She pulled out two silver needles from her pocket andinserted them into Sloan's nape.

In the next second, Sloan began to tremble violently. Bailey extended her fingers, snapping thembeside Sloan's ear while quickly searching for other acupoints to insert the needles.

“Pull her down.”

After hearing that, Raiden showed no courtesy and grabbed Yolanda by the collar, throwing her ontothe ground.

Taking advantage of the situation, Bailey sat in her seat and, seizing the opportunity while Sloan wasmomentarily released from the hypnosis, she once again connected with him through a mental bridge.

A moment later, beads of sweat covered Bailey's forehead, and her face turned pale. Her slender andfrail body trembled violently.

Raiden was startled and quickly grabbed her shoulder, shaking it vigorously.

“Bailey, Bailey, don't push yourself too hard. If it's not working, let's think of another solution.”

Using hypnosis was already quite demanding and exhausting mentally and physically. Bailey's bodyhad not fully recovered and simply could not withstand such a domineering technique.

Blargh!

With a vomiting sound, Sloan suddenly spat out a mouthful of blood and then leaned back. Meanwhile,Bailey was also affected by the backlash of the hypnosis. Her body went limp, and she fell straight tothe ground.

Originally, Raiden intended to help his father, but seeing Bailey swaying and about to fall, he quicklychanged direction. Just as she was about to collapse, he reached out and caught her. As he held herdelicate body close, he realized how soft and tender she was, as if all the bones in her body had beenremoved. Her body felt like a puddle of mud without any vitality.

“Bailey, are you all right?” Bailey coughed twice lightly, and her stiff expression forced a smile out.

“It's okay. My body is completely useless now, and I can't do anything anymore. Fortunately, I managedto pull your father out of the dream world. Otherwise, you'd be preparing for the funeral.”

Raiden opened his mouth, just about to speak. Tamara suddenly jumped out again, gritting her teethand saying,

“The hypnosis Yolanda did was undergoing just fine. Who asked you to meddle in other people'saffairs? Now you've caused Sloan to spit out blood and faint. Can I sue you for intentionally hurtingsomeone?”

Bailey withdrew from Raiden's arms, looked up at Tamara, and sneered, “As the first lady, you don'thave to be too smart, but don't be too foolish either, or you'll embarrass yourself.”

“You...”

Tamara gritted her teeth and shouted at the bodyguards around, “What are you all waiting for? Didn't

you see that she just hurt Mr. Fletcher and made him spit out blood? Hurry up and catch her, thenthrow her into the prison!”

The bodyguards inside the room stared blankly at one another.

Ms. Jefferson clearly saved Mr. Fletcher just now, but now Mrs. Fletcher is distorting the fact. Isn't thata bit too much?

Tamara saw that they did not move and could not help but laugh.

“Well, all right, it seems I can't persuade any of you. All of you, pack up your things and get out of here.Benson, call the police station and ask the person in charge to come over.”

Just as Benson was about to respond, a languid voice suddenly came from the doorway.

“Bullying Bailey in front of me. Do you all think I'm dead? What's the matter? Do you all want to tastethe toxin from the Yablon family?”

There was an instant silence, and no one dared to make a sound. Cameron saw the people around himquickly retreat, each avoiding him like the plague, Cameron could not help but sneer.

It seems the notorious reputation I've built up over the years outside has some deterrent effect. Assoon as others hear my name, they immediately keep their distance.

“Mrs. Fletcher, someone kindly saved your husband, but you repay them with hostility. Is this thedemeanor and generosity of the first lady? It truly opens one's eyes. I'm afraid Chanaea will be utterlyembarrassed by you, the first lady.”

“You... This is Dellmoor, not the Yablon family's territory. If you want to behave atrociously here, you'dbetter make sure your bones are strong enough to handle it.”

Cameron shrugged nonchalantly and said, “It doesn't matter how strong my bones are. The key is if Iuse a bottle of Bone-shredding Hormones on you, I wonder how much of your bones will be left? Oh,by the way, I'm not Chanaean, so don't try to scare me with Chanaea laws. The Yablon family is notbound by any country's rules. When it comes to poison-crafting, we mean business.”

Tamara was scared, so she did not say a word anymore. She had indeed heard of the Yablon family'sreputation as the foremost poison-crafting family. They were a well-known family that their name ranglike thunder in one's ears.

If she really died at the hands of Cameron, it would most likely amount to nothing in the end, and shewould have died in vain. Cameron walked over to the bedside and pulled Bailey out of Raiden'sembrace.

“This is the consequence when you try too hard to be a good person. Have you learned your lesson? Will you be so impulsive next time? Bailey, do you have any idea how your body is right now? Must youtoss yourself up before giving up?”

Bailey was scolded by Cameron right in the face, which made her angry.

She gritted her teeth and retorted, “None of your business!”

Cameron was speechless.

Raiden said to Cameron, “Take her back to the hotel to rest first, and I'll come find you both later.”

Cameron did not even bother with him. He supported Bailey and walked toward the door. At thatmoment, Yolanda, who was lying on the ground, gradually regained consciousness.

When she looked at Bailey's retreating figure, she gritted her teeth and yelled, “Ethereal!”

But no one responded. A hint of surprise flashed through Yolanda's eyes.

Isn't she Ethereal?

After seeing the two of them leave the room, she quickly turned to Tamara and anxiously said, “Mrs.Fletcher, I was so close to success, but someone interrupted me at the crucial moment, causing thehypnosis to fail. I-I...”

Tamara was fuming, but after hearing Yolanda's words, she walked over and helped her up.

“I know. She saw that you were going to succeed, so she was just worried that you would steal herthunder. That's why she did that at such a crucial moment. You should take a break for now andcontinue in a couple of days.”

Yolanda was delighted and asked, “So, you'll let me continue treating Mr. Fletcher?”
