Chapter 527

He lowered his eyes and was greeted with the ghastly sight of her blood-stained pants. His expressionfell.

Despite not being a father, he knew what such profuse bleeding meant for a pregnant woman. novelbin

Holy shit!

It was highly likely that she'd lose the child in her stomach based on the amount of blood loss.

“Z-Zeke, my stomach hurts so bad.”

She'd subconsciously held on to Zeke's arm and called out to him.

Zeke was shaken to his core as he propped Bailey's upper half up and wound his arms around hertightly.

“W-What should I do? Am I allowed to move you, or will I end up causing more harm?”

He was unlike his usual implacable self and was as helpless as a child as he fumbled to position hishands correctly.

Bailey bit on her lip as another wave of excruciating pain shook her free from her woolly state.

“I-I'm afraid that I'll be losing the child. Zeke, I hate them so much. They deserve to be dead.”

Zeke's hawk-like eyes were misty.

He was a hulking man who always had his way with things and feared nothing, yet a bone-chillingtrepidation overtook him then.

“D-Don't say such things. I'll find the best doctor in the world and make sure your baby is safe. I swear.”

Bailey let out a broken laugh as she croaked, “They drugged me. I was apoplectic when I discovered it.As such, my emotional turmoil must have affected the baby. I would never have escaped if I hadn'texhausted all my reserves to carry out hypnosis. Zeke, this child inside me is a lost cause. I'mAnonymous, the world-renowned miracle doctor. I know my body best. The infant has yet to be formedbut is now nothing but blood. There's no way for us to save it.”

Zeke's face contorted in rage as he gritted his teeth. “Who did this to you? Who in the world wasplotting against you?”

Bailey's eyes flashed with a harsh glint.

She had always been an open-minded individual who never bore a grudge despite Rhonda and Zoey'scruelties against her in the past.

Alas, she couldn't say the same now as she experienced the sheer agony of her child leaving her bodyprematurely.

Bailey wanted nothing more than to annihilate the three friends of the Jefferson family.

Death would be a mercy for them.

She would let them live and suffer the sin of engaging in an incestuous relationship. The rest of theirlives would be nothing but eternal suffering as they're hounded by their guilty conscience.

“Clarence asked me out, and I carelessly fell into their trap. Rhonda attempted to place me in acompromising situation with him in a room to destroy my reputation.”

The astute Zeke caught on to what Bailey was hinting at.

He boiled with rage as understanding dawned upon him.

How dare they use such filthy and underhanded schemes against a pregnant woman?

Bailey might not be biologically related to the Jefferson family, but she'd lived under their roof for manyyears. How would they be so heartless by carrying out such atrocities?”

“How's the situation above?”

Bailey pursed her lips and steeled her gaze on Zeke as she bit out the words. “I hypnotized the father-daughter pair and fed them the aphrodisiac they'd intended for me. Do you think I'm vile for doing so?”

Zeke touched her pale face and murmured gently, “Of course not. An eye for an eye. They deserve it. Iwould have done the same if you hadn't. You're my sister, the respectable daughter of the Shurmerfamily. No one will ever lift a finger against you and walk away unscathed.”

Bailey chuckled as tears began streaming down her eyes.

She'd made the right decision by revealing her true identity to Zeke. He hadn't disappointed her and

had shown her the kindness of kin.

“They'd also arranged for reporters, Zeke. I vow to permanently tarnish the name of Clarence andRhonda, so much so that they'll never be able to lift their heads again. I will avenge my child. Pleasehelp me.”

Zeke nodded and carried her bridal style. His eyes landed on the young lady beside him.

She hurriedly reassured him as she sensed his icy stare, “Worry not, Mr. Shurmer. I saw nothing today.Nothing else happened besides you coming here to discuss our possible business cooperation.”

Zeke reeled in his threatening aura as he raised his chin. “It's settled then. You may bring the contractover to my assistant at Shurmer Group for it to be signed. If that's all, feel free to leave as I'mpreoccupied now.”

“Right at once.”

The young lady instantly made herself scarce as she reached for her handbag and departed.

Zeke said to Bailey, “I'll leave the matters here to my personal bodyguards. They'll get everything doneto your satisfaction. Why don't I bring you to the medical base of the Shurmer family? I'm worried foryou. You can have another child in the future, but if you were to pass on, both Artemis and I would loseour minds.”

Bailey's eyelids were heavy. She moved her lips in an attempt to speak but fainted before she could geta word out.

“Bay....”

Seeing that, Zeke strode out of the room without hesitation.
