“Don't!” Artemis reached out and pulled her into his arms. Laughing, he continued, “We still haven'tcaptured Cadence, so we can't leave Hallsbay. That's why I decided to make them change the locationof the event to Hallsbay.”
Bailey sighed softly, knowing that he had done something so demanding just for her sake.

Bailey's eyes brightened. “Can you guarantee Zayron's and Susan's safety?”
Artemis could not help but burst out laughing.
After all, they were his children. Even if he had to sacrifice his life, he would not let anyone harm them.
“Don't worry. I'll not let anything happen to them.”
“Fine,” Bailey agreed easily. “We'll go with your plan.”
In the afternoon, Bailey was sitting by the window in a café around the corner of a street.
