thought their fathers had not come to save them yet. It turned out they had already come but failed to

Exasperated, Solomon put away the cash note and spat, which landed on the centurion, lan's armor.
"F*ck you. You rejected money from me. Are you idiots?" Solomon swore.
Elijah even sneered. "I'm telling you. You're going to suffer if you don't let us out! The Walker family has
ways to deal with you! So what if you're the city defense army? So what if you stay in the city's defense
