Chapter 1313

Sean became more puzzled and slowly turned to look at May.

May’s face was full of struggle, shame, and grievance.

Sean could tell May must have something she had trouble telling.

The two caretakers probably suspected May of misappropriating the goods.

“I thought something bad happened.

“It’s gone, so what?”

Sean stepped forward slowly and helped May fix her washed–out clothes.

The action made May feel at ease instantly.

“What?”

The two caretakers froze at Sean’s comment.

Even May looked up at Sean in shock.

She had expected Sean to question her about the supplies as the two caretakers did.

“said, so what if it’s gone?

“What’s the big deal?

“And why accuse Aunt May when the supplies are gone?”

Sean frowned slightly. His eyes were a little impatient as he even glared at Caitlyn.

“Brother… I didn’t mean to accuse Aunt May.

“It’s just that Aunt May won’t tell me anything. I thought Aunt May would tell you if you came.”

Caitlyn waved her hand and explained.

She did not ask Sean over to criticize May.

After all these years of living with May, how could she not know her character and personality?

No matter how difficult it is, there was no way May would keep the goods donated by charitable people

as her own.

“Mr. Lennon, these supplies are for the orphanage, after all, so we have the right…”

The caretaker also wanted to say something.

However, they were interrupted by Sean with a wave of his hand when they had just started speaking.

“Listen, you have no right.

“I gave those things to my Aunt May.

“She can use them for the orphanage if she wants.

“She can use them for herself. How she uses them and what she uses them for are nobody else’s

business.

“Do you understand me now?”

Sean’s calm speech left the two caretakers speechless.

He knew the caretakers might have meant well.

However, May was like a mother to him.

How could he let May suffer any grievances?

He would not allow others to point fingers at May even if she had done something wrong.

“Seanie…”

May was touched.

Sean slowly turned his head and met May’s eyes.

“Aunt May, tell me who took the things?”

Sean looked at May and spoke softly without questioning.

“No… No…”

May was silent for a few seconds before shaking her head again.

“Did someone threaten you?”

Sean asked again, looking at May.

May’s eyes flickered twice at Sean’s speech.

With Sean’s keen observation, how could he not discover it?

His speculation seemed to be correct.

“It must be Albert.”

Sean was silent for two seconds before saying suddenly.novelbin

Swoosh!

May subconsciously looked up and locked eyes with Sean in surprise for a few seconds.

However, she shook her head again when she came to herself.

“No, no.”

May shook her head in denial, but how could Sean not see the signs?

“Aunt May, you taught us not to lie when we were children.”

When Sean said this, May blushed instantly.

It confirmed Sean’s speculation when he saw this.

“Phone.”
