“Alex, you need to explain yourself right now. I won’t tolerate this!” Richard’s expression darkened withanger as he pointed at Alex and scolded him.
Richard had once held Alex in high regard as his favorite grandson-in-law, but the unfolding events hadleft him devastated.

What I demand from you is an immediate andsatisfactory explanation. Failure to provide one will result in the Grants considering you an enemy, andI will withdraw my thirty billion investment from the tech dome.”

She then turned to Richard and addressed him respectfully. “Old Mr. Grant, I’m Kate from the Suttonfamily in Lumenopolis. I believe you may be familiar with our name, correct?”
