Everyone rushed to the edge and looked down. As expected, there were a few red words painted onthe ground in blood-the color was extremely striking.
A few iniddle-aged women were standing near those words, their hands still carrying some remainingdog blood.
Evidently, they were the ones behind those words. However, why would they come over and createsuch a huge disturbance at Alex’s wedding despite having no grudges against him?

Alex, who was watching the spectacle from the castle, frowned and glanced at Heather, who wasstanding behind.

Carmen was still as noisy as ever downstairs. At the top of her lungs, she shrieked, “You’ve got noconscience at all, Alex! With her sharp gaze, Carmen noticed a bunch of youths running toward her with baseball bats. Shetossed her megaphone to the side and sprinted away immediately.
Carmen’s friends did not dare to stay there any longer upon seeing that as well. They knew that Alex,whose patience had already run out, must have sent those men to teach them a lesson.

They would definitely be caught if they stopped. When that happened, they would be terribly beaten.
Just when Carmen was about to get up, someone stomped on her back forcefully. Her face slammedagainst the ground, causing a mouthful of dirt to be shoved into her mouth.
