Chapter 909

Chapter 909 The Designer From Pillere

“Mr. Jefferson, I know I’m not worthy of you, but I’m really in love with you. Could you promise to fulfillthis last request of mine?” Jessica pleaded tenderly without lifting her head. She continued to cling toAlex as she spoke.

After the first request, Alex did not want to recklessly agree to another one of her requests, for fear thatit may land him in the same predicament once more: Instead, he responded with caution, saying,“Before 1 make any promises, tell me what is it that you want.”

Though slightly let down by the lack of instantaneous agreement. Jessica did not intend to give up. Sheloosened her arms that were around him and looked earnestly into his eyes. “Please sleep with me,Alex. I’d be satisfied even if it’s just this once,” she requested.

After everything, the plan she managed to come up with was to give the man her virginity.

As soon as she finished speaking. Jessica swiftly began to undo the buttons on her shirt, unveiling herwhite bra and impressive cleavage. Alex couldn’t help but appreciate her curvaceous and flawlessfigure. The woman was undeniably alluring, a sight that could captivate any man.

However, they were in his office, and the thought of engaging in an intimate act in such aninappropriate setting had never once crossed his mind. He had never entertained the idea of indulgingin such recklessness.

Without hesitation, Alex hurriedly removed his jacket and covered the woman’s body with it.

“You’re a great woman and deserve someone better than me. There’s no need for you to degradeyourselves like this. Now, be good and don’t do this anymore.” Alex said, suppressing the growingdesires within his heart.

“I hate you, Alex!” With that, Jessica fled from the office as tears continued streaming down her face. The sound of her cries could pain anyone’s heart..

Alex had no idea what he had done wrong. He simply rejected Jessica’s request and did so believing itwas in her best interest.

However, it was precisely those words that had utterly broken her heart and made her feel as if shewas nothing in his eyes.

The realization of him not being the slightest bit attracted to her, even if she stood naked in front of him, dealt a devastating blow to Jessica.

Alex sighed helplessly as he watched her leave. Emotional matters were the hardest to deal with, andeven he found himself at a loss for a solution.

Despite that, Alex did not run after her. Even if he did, they would look awkward standing together. Hereckoned it was better to give Jessica some space to calm down. Perhaps the matter could be resolvedonce she had thought things through.

Just then, Alex’s phone rang. He checked his phone and saw that it was a call from Jack.

“Mr. Jefferson, the designer from Pillere you told me to reach out to has arrived. I’ve only managed tohire two famous designers; the others are fully booked. One of them is a famous Ferropenian designernamed. Guillaume Jamison. His designs are so famous that even the royals of Anglandur use them. The other’s an Eurasian. This designer studied fashion in Ferropene and took several years to becomefamous. I’ve taken a look at their designs. The designs were novel and quite pleasing to the eyes.”

The designers Jack introduced intrigued Alex greatly. Smiling, the latter asked, “Have they landed? I’llpick them up. I can use the time to ask them if they have any opinions regarding the design of thenovelbin

wedding gown.”

“I won’t send my men there, then.”

“Sure. By the way, make sure the castle isn’t done up sloppily. You don’t need to worry about the cost. All I want to see is a perfect castle, so don’t let me down.” With that, Alex ended the call.
