Chapter 652

Chapter 652 Punishing Desmond

In Sakura Club, Autumn brought herself up from the bed once the regained consciousness. As shecontinued massaging her swollen temples, she finally recalled the things she had gone through prior tolosing her consciousness.

I wasn’t in my right mind and lost control over my body after David forced me to drink the suspiciousglast of water in Tenus Hotel! He almost got his way! Aler was the one rushing to my rescue! In theend, he brought me into the car and took me somewhere else with him! I-I seemed to have lost controlover myself during the ride before I was unconscious!

Autumn flushed once she recounted the things she had done and said in the car. She wasn’t even sureif she could carry herself in an ordinary manner whenever she was around him in the future.

Once she gathered her thoughts, she pulled the blanket off her body to check on herself, since shecould vividly recall that she had been drugged.

She found that her shirt was disheveled, yet she knew she was the one who had ripped her own shirt. On top of her was a man’s jacket of inferior quality. Therefore, it was safe to assume it belonged toAlex.

Autumn couldn’t figure out the reason Alex was able to pull himself together instead of letting loose ofhis lust when she wasn’t even in her right mind. Is he just a righteous man? Or is he a blockhead?

For some reason, she was slightly upset, but those were concerns for another day. She surveyed thesurroundings for a moment before she stepped out of the room.

Not long after she stepped out of the room, she ran into Auriel. “Ms. Jones? You’re not supposed to getout of bed just yet!”

Before Autumn could reply to her, Auriel muttered to herself again, “Mr. Jefferson is awesome! Hefigured out the exact time you were going to regain consciousness and asked me to take the medicineto you. I need to get him to teach me this in the future!”

Autumn asked with a smile, “Do you know where Mr. Jefferson is? Can you please show me the way tohim? I wish to express my gratitude for the favor he has done me.”

“Mr. Jefferson is currently occupied with something else. Therefore, he told you to pay him a visit in thenear future.” Auriel showed Autumn the bowl of concoction and urged, “He wanted you to finish this aswell.”

Autumn expressed her gratitude and gulped down the entire bowl of concoction without any hesitation.

Since she couldn’t meet Alex, she then went home and told her father the things she had gone through. There was no way she would let David off the hook.

When she was merely a step away from the entrance of the Jones residence, she heard someoneshrieking at the top of his lungs. She could tell right away that the voice belonged to Desmond.

Her heart sank to the bottom of her stomach, as she thought something was wrong with Desmond.Without a second thought, she rushed into the mansion.

Stefan wouldn’t stop whipping Desmond who had been tied up and hung in the middle of the air.

Autumn couldn’t believe her eyes and thought her father might have figured out the things going onwhen

she was away. How is that possible? Has Desmond told Dad everything?novelbin

Autumn rushed over to stop her father and urged, “Dad, calm down! Can’t we talk about it? Is itnecessary to resort to violence?”

Stefan glanced at her daughter and beckoned her to leave him alone because he had no intention tostop just yet.

“He’s getting increasingly absurd! It’s time to teach him a lesson! Otherwise, he’s going to bring uponthe downfall of the family soon!”

“Autumn, you need to save me! Uncle Stefan is going to kill me!”

Desmond asked Autumn to do him a favor, but nothing she brought up could change her father’s mind,as he was determined to vent his frustration on the young man.

In the end, others showed up to bring Desmond to his room. He continued shrieking in pain whilewalking up the stairs.

Autumn asked, “What’s going on? Has Dad figured out the truth?”

Desmond answered with an aggrieved look, “I-I told him everything David was up to and urged him toavenge you!”

Sighing, the young man added, “However, he found out something was wrong and forced me to tell himthe truth. He threatened to cast me out of the family. Thus, I had no choice but to tell him everything. Then he punished me without mercy.”

Autumn thought Desmond deserved it because she wouldn’t have fallen prey to David if it weren’tbecause
