When he thought of how Alex had only come to visit him for a short while and returned, he feltfrustrated.

“I’m callous now? Alright, I’m done here,” Alex declared. What on earth happened to Lucas? Why is heat odds with me today?
“Alright, that’s enough. Let’s eat; the food is getting cold. We’re all adults, so I’ll decide what to do withmy life,” Heather announced.
“Alright then, I guess I’m being a busybody!” Alex set his utensils aside and scowled. “Enjoy your meal.I’m full, so I’ll leave after settling the bill.”
He then left the private room.
Carmen signaled Heather to stop him.
Heather spat, “Leave him! Who cares about him? I’ve had enough with him meddling in my affairs.already! Just who does he think he is?”
