When Alex knelt in front of her to take a look at the herbs she brought, Autumn’s heart started beatingfaster.

“Not bad. Your dad is really generous. Can you ask him how much all of these costs?” Alex noddedand asked Autumn.
These herbs were all pretty expensive. He didn’t want to leech off of the Jones family like that.
He only wanted the convenience that came with buying from the Jones family not their money.
“Well, my father said that all these herbs are a gift to you, Mr. Jefferson. He did say that in the future,no matter how much you needed, we’d be more than happy to search for them for you,” Autumn quicklystated.
Alex thought about that statement for a while before asking, “You said that most of these came fromyour grandfather, right? Have they been paid for?”
