“Stop the car for a moment!” Alex caught sight of a white teddy bear behind the display window of a toystore. It was so beautiful that it instantly captured Alex’s attention.
Ever since Emmalyn came to this family, he, as a father, had never given the little girl a single gift.
Now that Emmalyn was one-year-old and beginning to learn how to play, it would make her very happyif Alex bought her a toy.
Jessica parked the car by the roadside and followed Alex into the toy store. Alex was at a loss for whatto choose when he saw the impressive display of toys inside.

“This doll looks just like you! It’s as if it was made from your photo. It’s not as beautiful and lively asyou, though. I’ll give this doll to you!” Alex said to Jessica with a smile.
Jessica expressed her gratitude and held the doll in her arms, treating it as a precious treasure. Shecherished anything given to her by Alex.
After settling the bill, the two were planning to take a car back to the villa area when a woman’s voicesuddenly came from behind. Her tone carried a hint of sarcasmI.
