Chapter 3212

Isabella said, "If you really like him, he's successful enough that your parents would have no objections. The only thing is that he's a Wiltspoonian. They might not be able to bear letting you move so far away

from us."

"Isa!" Tati said exasperatedly.

"How many times do I have to tell you that I don't like him like that? In fact, I think he's a good match for you. You're the oldest of the seven of us so you have to get married first, anyway. I can't cut in line." Unsure if it was just an illusion, she felt Austin look at Isabella with a different sparkle in his eyes. He had definitely come for Isabella.

Or rather he had come for Isabella's picky mouth, to be exact. His customers would definitely be satisfied if he could satisfy Isabella. Tati did not think there were many people out there as picky as Isabella was Isabella lightly pinched Tati's cheek as she could not help but laugh. "We're not far apart in age and we're just cousins. It doesn't matter if you get married before I do. I don't plan on getting married for now. "Even if I wanted to, I'd go for someone local. Think about it-Louis and Phillip are only a few years old. We'd still need to wait at least twenty years till they take over the company. In the meantime, all of us wil have to support the company.novelbin

"If we marry off to a faraway land, who'll do that for us? We'd have to see if Edith and Eleanor can handle it."

Edith O'Connor and Eleanor O'Connor were of age and started learning the ropes in the company. For now, they were still unable to shoulder the heavy burden of the family business. That was why Isabella had discarded the idea of marrying and moving away.

If she were to get married, it would be right here in Satbury. That way, she could still take care of her company. Once Louis came of age, she could slowly hand over to him.

Tati was speechless for a moment before she asked, "Is there a local young talent that you're interested in?"

There were quite a few rich families

in Satbury with children who were

not heirs of their families. Some were decent, but they were all married with children. Those younger than Tati and Isabella were out of the question, and so were those with different status to the O'Connors.

Although the family business would be passed down to Louis eventually, the cousins were rich enough to establish their own businesses. If they married men who were not as well off as they were, they would constantly worry that the men were insincere gold diggers.

In the world of business, they had seen all sorts of people. They were both clear-headed and would never look at men through a rose-tinted lens.

"Nope. Did you come after me just to talk about this?"

Tati laughed sheepishly. "No-well, I just wanted to ask what you thought of Austin. I was right, wasn't I? He's the most handsome guy I've ever seen and well-mannered too."

Isabella poked Tati's forehead. "Yet you say you're not interested in Austin. Just listen to yourself. You haven't stopped talking about him ever since you laid eyes on him." Tati had nothing to say to that.

"Austin might be handsome, but handsome men are the hardest to keep. When we're looking to get married, we first need to consider his character and then his family

There's no way around it with a net

family like ours. Even if we don't mind that they're not as rich as us, our parents will. We'd be better off looking for someone of similar status from the start rather than making our parents break our relationships up.

"You read Austin's information too. So far, he does seem quite outstanding. It'll take us a long time. to really see if he's a good guy or not though. And he's only but our private chef right now. You're one of his employers. He wouldn't dare mistreat you, and we won't be able to see his true character Some people can hide it so well, and for years without slipping up even once."

Tati was truly speechless. She had already said that she had no romantic interest in Austin. Isa clearly had not taken her seriously.
