Chapter 3211

Austin said, "I'll let my performance speak for itself."

Tati raised an eyebrow and laughed. "You're brimming with confidence."

Isabella gave Tati a look and asked Austin, "When can you start?"

"I came precisely for this position. I can start anytime."

Isabella smiled. "You can officially start tomorrow, then. Dominic must have already arranged your accommodations. Your salary will be counted starting tomorrow and you'll be on probation for a month, during which your salary will be prorated. We won't make you work for free."

Every employee got the same treatment.

"Dominic had arranged my lodging yesterday. I'm fine with the salary. I came for the challenge, after all, not the pay." He was short of a wife, not money.

"Alright. You can head back and rest now. Dominic will let you know what time we have our meals. Apart from breakfast, they are the same every day."

Everyone woke up at different hours, so breakfast time was flexible.

Austin replied, "Sure, I'll ask Dominic."

He nodded at everyone before getting up to leave.

Once he was gone, Isabella stood up too and said to them, "I still have things to do, so I can't stay. Tell Louis that I'll take him out to play this weekend."

Louis was twenty years younger than she was-taking care of him felt more like she was caring for a son than a younger brother. He was afraid of her but clingy at the same time. Tati followed after Isabella. "I've got work to do too."

"Don't drink too much when you're out networking. It's not good for the body," Delphine admonished Isabella.

"Don't worry, Mom. I'm no longer the same person I was five years ago," Isabella said without looking back.

When she first took over the

el

company, plenty of people made things difficult for her. At the time, she had to swallow her grievances because she had neither the authority nor the experience and was afraid the company would be affected if she offended someone.

Now that her position as the company president was secure and she had gradually established her authority within the company, who would dare do the same?

She would drink if she wanted to at the gatherings, but no one could make her if she did not want to.

Delphine got up to walk her daughter

out because she was still worried When she saw Isabella's bodyguards waiting for her outside, she felt a little more at ease knowing that they would be with her S

No matter how capable Isabella was now, she was still a woman.

Tati squeezed into Isabella's car.

"Didn't you drive here?" Isabella commented.

"I'll just get the driver to follow after us. I want to sit with you."

"I hired Austin like you wanted. What else do you have to say?" Isabella teased as she adjusted Tati's blazer lapel.

"I told you, Isa. All I feel for Austin is pure admiration. Isn't it normal to appreciate a fine work of art? I'm really not interested in him."novelbin

"You aren't now, but what about in

the future? Austin doesn't seem like a small fry. He started his business at a young age and was fairly

successful, but he still seeks to ney

improve himself and is ambitious. Give him a few more years and he'll definitely be one of the leaders in the F&B industry."
