They were not that stupid.

When they saw Duncan arrive, they greeted him.

The cafeteria crew had Duncan's lunch prepared and set it aside on one of the tables.

Many young ladies had had a crush on Zachary before they got married and some had come looking for Serenity before, wanting to get a share of his love.

Many of them had given up on Zachary when they saw how he doted on Serenity, but it was hard to guarantee that all of them had let go.

Her fresh produce company was not as big as York Corporation. They only took up two floors, and both her and Elisa's offices were on the first floor. They were both too lazy to take the stairs. That was why their offices were on the first floor.
