Chapter 3177

Owen hummed in acknowledgment. "I'm only talking about this to you. When someone who normally wears suits suddenly turns up in a beautiful dress, they're definitely trying to attract someone's attention, or they've started dating. Women care about appearances, after all."

Duncan turned to give Owen a look, smiling as he said, "You understand women pretty well, don't you?"

"Mr. Lewis, I have a wife and two children. Of course, I understand women. If you want to win Ms. Hunt's favor, feel free to take lessons from me."

"I didn't think about that. If I'd thought of it earlier, I'd be married by now," Duncan joked. "I don't really understand what makes women happy, but I know I have to accept everything about someone if I love her. "If I'm sincere and true, she'll feel it. Compared to giving her all sorts of expensive gifts, I think helping her as soon as she needs it and rushing to her side right away when she runs into trouble- companionship will move her more than gifts will."

Liberty had never accepted his expensive gifts. At most, only flowers. He could only play the companionship card when pursuing a woman who did not covet material possessions. That was the most enduring confession of love.

Owen had been working with Duncan for many years and had witnessed Duncan and Liberty's relationship bloom. He knew Duncan was not initially interested in Liberty and only gave her a job because she was Zachary's sister-in-law.

Back then, Duncan even stipulated that Liberty had to reach the office early to run laps, having thought she was overweight. He gradually became attracted to her when they spent more time together; one did not care about money while the other did not care about appearance.

They got together because they were genuine about each other.

When Duncan fell for Liberty, she had not successfully lost weight yet, and neither did he know he already liked her at the time. He kept thinking it was because of Zachary that he was treating Liberty nicely. "Ms. Hunt is a very good woman. So when are you getting married, Mr. Lewis? You have to invite us all to the wedding when the time comes."

Duncan laughed. "Once Liberty and I get married, I'll definitely invite you guys to my wedding and give all our employees a bonus. On the wedding day, I'll arrange for the company cafeteria to serve the food like the wedding banquet. Everyone will get to eat for free."

The upper management would be

employees for all of them to be on

the guest list.

However, he could arrange for the cafeteria to serve banquet food as a treat to the employees, on top of giving them a bonus.

That was what Zachary and Serenity did.

All the employees at York Corporation received bonuses and fine food.

Duncan could not lose to his two best friends and make Liberty miss out.

When Liberty got married to Hank, their wedding was ordinary.

When Duncan married Liberty, he wanted to do it with a bang. He would deliver the invitation to Hank personally and invite him and his family.

Did they not love badmouthing him to Sonny and want to break him and Liberty apart?

He would let each of them witness how happy they were!novelbin

Owen laughed. "I'll be waiting, then."

They talked as they walked and soon reached the cafeteria.

Although Duncan was a rugged,

el

scarred man, which made strangers think he looked terrifying, the employees at Lewis & Co. all knew he was truly approachable S
