“I've already asked Mr. Fletcher to book a table for us at Fortress Hotel. See you at noon!”Liberty laughed. “Are you even asking? It’s more like you're notifying me.”“Are you going to say no? I’m your elder, you know. It’s rude to refuse when an elder is buying you lunch.”
Liberty was speechless for a moment. “I never said | was going to say no. We were planning to have lunch at the hotel in the firstplace. Since you're treating us, we'll gladly take you up on your offer.”
“Where did you go in the morning?

Caroline laughed. “You'll probably never have one. | don’t want to get married. After some time, I’ll just find someone with goodgenes to be a sperm donor and have a daughter to be my successor.”
Liberty was once again struck speechless. “If your mom heard of this, she would vomit blood out of anger.”
“It'll be her fault. My parents might seem happy on the outside but they’re not happy at all. What's the good in having a marriagelike that?
“I'm scared of following in her footsteps, so | might as well just not get married.”
Caroline thought that with her status and personality, she might end up like her parents if she really found a man to marry intothe family.
