Chapter 2959

Audrey smiled. “That she is.”

While they were talking, they suddenly heard Elisa’s and Remy’s voices.

“Elisa’s back,” said Serenity.

When Sonny heard that, he immediately hugged his toy and dashed out.

Worried that he would fall, Serenity quickly got up to follow him.

Audrey remained in her seat. She turned and watched Serenity from the sofa with a grin.

However, the corners of her mouth gradually went down as she thought of her deceased sister.

It would have been great if Lisa was alive.

Audrey wished her parents were still around as well. Their family would have been so lively. She and

Lisa would never have separated, and Lisa would not have died.

She wondered if her mother’s assistant, Patrick, was still alive.

He was a key figure.

They had utilized all resources to look for him, but there was no news.

After all, most people had little memories of that elderly assistant. Audrey had a vague impression but

did not know if the portrait she drew based on her memories was accurate.

Even Belinda Fisher, who had been looking for Patrick for decades, had yet to find him.

She surely had a clearer image of Patrick’s face.

However, Patrick would be pretty old if he were still alive. Would he remember what happened back

then?

Audrey sighed. Nevertheless, her determination returned immediately. She thought, ‘I’ll avenge you,

Mom. I’ll take back everything that belonged to us. Please watch over Liberty from above. Help her to

regain everything that was taken away from us. Liberty is your granddaughter. As for Lisa… I couldn’t

protect her.’

Her heart felt heavy whenever she thought of Lisa.

Meanwhile, Elisa lifted Sonny, who charged at her.

She spun around twice with Sonny in her arms. He giggled and shouted, “Higher, Aunt Elisa. Higher!”

Elisa passed him to Remy. She smiled and said, “Let Remy do it. I’m not strong enough to lift you

higher.”

Of course, Remy satisfied Sonny’s request.

Sonny’s jaw felt tired from smiling too widely.

Remy spun around many times. Elisa said, “You should stop now, Remy. Sonny is getting dizzy.”

Sonny laughed. “It’s fun, Aunt Elisa. I’m not dizzy.”

Nevertheless, Remy still put him down.

Serenity walked over. “Why are you two back at the same time?”

Elisa was supposed to be at the company.

Remy smiled sheepishly. “I was worried about you.”

“What’s there to be worried about? I’m good at driving.” Updated at Draмаnоvеls.cоm

Remy held Sonny’s hand and followed the ladies into the house.

“Why didn’t you go to Duncan’s place today, Sonny?”novelbin
