Chapter 2955

“Aunt Audrey.”

Serenity greeted Audrey with a smile.

Audrey nodded and asked, “Did you pick Sonny up today?”

“Duncan’s busy this afternoon, and since I’m not working full time right now anyway, I’m free to pick

Sonny up.”

As she said this, Serenity reached out to carry the little guy, “Sonny, you should come down and walk

by yourself. Don’t make Grandaunt Audrey carry you.”

Audrey hurriedly said, “It’s fine, I can carry him in. Sonny is a little bigger now, but he’s still a little kid

and isn’t that heavy. Just carrying him for a bit won’t tire me out.”novelbin

However, Sonny still obediently slid out of Audrey’s arms and onto the floor before looking up to say, “I

don’t want to make Grandaunt Audrey tired.”

Mom and Aunt Ser had told him before that Grandaunt Audrey was getting on in years and was

considered an elderly person, so he should be more considerate of her and not make her carry him all

the time.

Audrey ruffled Sonny’s hair and laughed. “Sonny has such a sweet little mouth.”

“Is that the only thing sweet about me, Grandaunt Audrey?”

Audrey laughed even more happily at that. “Your whole person is very sweet, Sonny.”

Serenity laughed too. “Sonny talks like an old man sometimes, but he can be very innocent and cute

sometimes too.”

Audrey took Sonny’s hand and beckoned for Serenity to head indoors, saying as she walked, “Our

Sonny is a very smart boy, but he’s still just a boy. It can’t be helped for him to be mischievous

sometimes. I’d be worried that something was wrong with him if he sat quietly all day.”

“When your husband was little, he was quite the loner. Although he was polite, he didn’t speak much

and always wore a serious expression. His gaze was so cold he didn’t seem like a child. Back then, I

even told Darrell that Zachary would definitely grow up to be a cold and ruthless person in the future.”

Although the Stones and the Yorks were rivals, both families lived in Wiltspoon and would pay attention

to each other. The York children normally prepared to join the business world after they turned twenty,

which was when Old Mrs. York or their parents would bring them along to attend the industry’s various

gatherings.

They essentially used the gatherings as an opportunity to introduce their children to the public.

That was how the Wiltspoonian business industry knew each York child’s name and appearance.

Before that point in time, the public knew basically nothing about the York children.

As Clive and Zachary were around the same age and they attended the same school when they were

kids, Audrey managed to catch a glimpse of him before anyone else did and found out about him.

Serenity said, “He’s still the same, he’s just a little more talkative and gentle when he’s with us.”

She remembered that back when they first registered their marriage, he was a cold, reticent, and

particularly hot-tempered person who would keep giving her the silent treatment at the drop of a hat.

She had not fallen for him yet at the time, so she just let him be. She would not lower her head to him if

she did not feel that she was at fault.

“Of course. She’s such a foodie.”

Just like her. Updated at Draм??оvels.cоm

She was a foodie, so the friends she made were foodies too.

“Aunt Audrey, I’m going upstairs to see Alice and the baby.”

“The baby’s probably asleep.”
