Chapter 2905

“Rowan will be going on winter break soon, right? Once he’s out, you guys should take him out to play

and relax. Kids nowadays are under a lot of pressure academically.”

As far as Camryn knew, Rowan’s grades were excellent.

As long as he did not mess up during the college entrance examination, he would be able to get into

any top institution he chose.

“He still has to keep up with his studies. Once he’s back, there’ll only be a few more days left till

Christmas. Alright, since his cousin-in-law has said so, we’ll bring him on a trip for a few days once his

winter break starts.”

At the mention of a trip, Callum asked excitedly, “Honey, do you want to go up north to see the snow?

Have you seen real snow before?”

“No, but I’ve felt the coldness of the north before. In the past, Aunt Evelyn took me traveling all around

the country looking for someone who could treat me. I’ve been to many cities in the northern region, but

I couldn’t see back then, so I’ve never seen snow.”

Before she lost her sight, she could not follow her family on trips due to her mother’s interference, so

she had never seen snow before.

The furthest she had been before she lost her sight was Evelyn’s house, where it did not even snow

during winter.

“Why don’t we go up north around Christmastime to see the snow?”

Camryn was tempted, but at the thought of her current condition, she said, “Let’s wait until next year to

do that. I can see now, but I still can’t see well from a distance. If I go on a trip and can only see the

things right in front of my eyes, I feel like it won’t be pretty and I won’t be able to experience the

stunning beauty of the northern snowy scenery.”

Callum’s heart ached as he looked at her.novelbin

She smiled. “You don’t have to look at me like that, darling. I’m doing very well now, truly. I thought I

was going to spend the rest of my life in darkness. I didn’t expect to see the light again one day.”

She paused, looked up, and began to feel his face. He closed his eyes and let her touch him.

After touching his eyes, she touched his face. In the past, she could only imagine what he looked like

by touching his face with her hands.

Callum hugged her, letting her lean against his chest. “Camryn, I got to know you too late. If I had met

you earlier, I would definitely have protected you and not let you get bullied, abused, or hurt so deeply

by them.”

“If you met me earlier, you might not have liked me. The timing of our meeting was destiny for us.”

They looked at each other. Their gazes met and they stared into each other’s eyes for a while more

before Callum slowly leaned down to kiss her.

After they kissed, Camryn lightly pushed him away and interlocked their fingers once more as they

continued walking.

For a short moment, neither of them spoke as they savored the passion from the kiss earlier.

The couple walked around the manor for about an hour before returning to the house.

“Mom, what sort of goodies do you have for me this time?” Read at Drам?novels.coм

As she got closer, her vision got clearer.

Martin made space for her and let her sit beside his wife.
