Chapter 2904

“Mom and Dad are so good to me that I want to have a child as soon as possible. I can tell that they

really like kids and really want grandchildren,” Camryn said as she rubbed her stomach.

Both of them knew it was harder for her to get pregnant, so Callum was especially vigorous at night.

If she were a healthy woman, coupled with Callum’s vigor, she probably would end up like Jasmine,

who got pregnant just one month after getting married.

“There’s no rush. We’re still young too, and we haven’t even had a wedding yet. We should work on

taking care of our bodies for now and spend some time together, just the two of us. Let them envy us.”

Callum was really not in a rush to have kids.

Even if Camryn was perfectly healthy, he had no plans to have kids too early. The earliest he would

consider kids would be one year after marriage.

“Honey, I’m not afraid of you scolding me for this, but seriously, small kids aren’t fun to have around.

Other people’s kids might look cute, but if you’re the one raising them, you’ll go mad when they cry

eight hundred times a day. Not all kids are as sensible and well-behaved as Sonny is.”

“I heard from Serenity that even Sonny wasn’t easy to take care of. He used to fuss and cry a lot and

needed to be cuddled while she paced around at night before he would go to sleep. Once he dozed off,

they’d put him back on the bed, but he would wake up soon afterward and needed them to carry him.

He would only go back to sleep after much coaxing.

“Serenity said that she lost almost ten pounds when she was taking care of Liberty after birth. You can

see how hard it is to take care of a child.

“It’s not too bad in a family like ours. Our elders are retired and we have nannies to help, but after we

have kids, as a mom, I’m sure you won’t be able to resist taking care of them personally and nurturing

the relationship between you two. Even if they’re our biological children, relationships still need to be

nurtured.”

“Anyway, it’s really tiring to take care of children. Let’s only have kids after we’re done having our fun.”

Camryn looked at him. “You speak as if you’ve taken care of children before, but you probably haven’t

even watched others do that, have you?”

“What do you mean, I haven’t? I have! Rowan’s more than ten years younger than I am. When he was

just born, the older cousins took turns taking care of him. When he was young, he was really cute, but

when he wouldn’t stop crying and fussing, I really wanted to throw a rubbish bin at him.

“Rowan’s afraid of Zachary. When he wouldn’t stop fussing around and none of us could coax him, it

was only when Zachary came back and we handed Rowan to him that the little guy quickly stopped

crying. He would roll around on the floor and no one would be able to get him off it, but once we said

Zachary was back, he would spring up immediately and bury himself in his mother’s arms.”

Camryn laughed. “Rowan’s still very afraid of Zachary now.”

“It’s much better now that there’s Serenity. Rowan clings to her tightly. When Zachary and Serenity had

just gotten married and Zachary was still hiding his identity, Rowan latched on to her the moment he

saw her. Now, if Zachary even dares to glare at him, he’ll call for Serenity.”

“Serenity will give him lots of questions about his studies.”

If Rowan could hear this, he would say, “You’re so cruel, Callum!”

“With cousins like you lot, no wonder Rowan prefers staying with his maternal grandmother during the

holidays.” Co?tent оf Dr?м??оvels.coм

Camryn chided, “Oh, don’t. He gets pressured by his teachers at school. When he finally gets to gonovelbin

home on vacation, you lot should give him a break. Let him relax and de-stress.”
