Chapter 2892

Of course, Rosella knew that Camryn only appeared gentle. Camryn was a wolf in sheep’s clothing, a

formidable opponent.

“Have you gotten off work, Camryn? Are you still busy? Are you tired?”

“I came to the store in the evening and pruned the flowers that just came in recently. It was

manageable, so I’m feeling fine.”

Camryn smiled. “Did you prepare more nutritious food for me again?”

Rosella was heartbroken over everything Camryn had gone through in the past. Whenever Camryn

had time, Rosella would prepare healthy food to nourish her body.

She would also curse the Newmans’ cruelty every time she saw Camryn.

No matter what, Camryn was Paige’s biological daughter. How could she be so ruthless and hurt

Camryn that deeply?

Rosella thought, ‘If I had a daughter, I would’ve showered her with so much love.’

Paige neither treasured nor loved Camryn. Look at how badly she had abused her. Luckily, Dr. Carden

was able to cure Camryn’s eyes.

It would have been unfortunate for such beautiful eyes to lose their light forever.

“I did prepare something. Do you and Callum have time to come over? You two can have a meal andnovelbin

spend a night at the manor before returning to the city the next day.”

Rosella smiled. “Does that sound good? If you two are coming back, I’ll ask the kitchen to prepare a

few more of your favorite dishes.”

“Okay.”

Since Rosella had called, Camryn would take up on her offer and return to the manor with Callum. It

was only an hour’s drive from the city anyway.

Even having breakfast there before heading to work the following day would not be a problem.

Callum’s working hours were flexible. No one would say anything even if he were absent from work in

the morning.

The same applied to Camryn. Dalton was in charge of most company matters for the time being. She

would only handle urgent cases. He had told her to rest up for her eye treatment.

She had not made a full recovery yet.

“I need to tell you something, Camryn.”

The change in Rosella’s tone made Camryn nervous. She maintained her smile and asked softly,

“What is it? You can be frank.”

“Your sister came?”

Camryn knew Carrie’s personality well.

Camryn’s expression was icy. Carrie had changed her target as she could no longer provoke any

reaction from Camryn. She even knocked on Rosella’s door to tattle on Camryn and asked for money.

Based on Carrie’s intelligence, she could not have come up with that idea on her own.

It was probably her aunts who taught her.

“Did you give her any money?” Camryn asked Rosella.
