“Everyone has their secrets; it’s impossible to tell everything to others,” Quinn spoke on behalf of
Julian.
However, Zoey said, “Think about when you first met him. Didn’t he pretend not to know martial arts?
You helped him once, and he kept calling you his lifesaver, insisting on repaying the favor, and then
treating you so well.

orchestrating things from the beginning. Making you his lifesaver so he can approach you openly, treat

Julian not to take her mother’s chatter to heart as that was just how she was.
Now that she thought about it, Quinn felt like she was the biggest fool.
“How did you find out?” Zoey asked with great interest.
In her eyes, this girl was like a boy, and in such a short month, she should not have been able to figure
out Julian’s intentions.
