Chapter 2811

Serenity smiled. “I’m not worried about not getting along with them. I’m just curious what types of girls

Nana chose for Dylan and Peter.”

She was just nosy, not at all concerned about her future interactions with the girls. Grandma May had a

good eye for people. Those who were chosen would definitely have good characters.

It would not be an issue even if she could not get along with them. Everyone had their own villas in

Wildridge Manor. They did not live together. If they could get along, they would interact more.

Otherwise, maintaining an amicable relationship would be enough.

Zachary said, “I don’t know who they are too. They must look pretty. After all, my cousins are

outstanding men. Nana wouldn’t choose someone who isn’t good enough for them. Dylan hasn’t looked

for me for a long time. I don’t know what his partner looks like.”

He did not even know her name. She was not his woman, so there was no need for him to be

concerned about her.

Dylan and Peter would bring their future partners over for a visit sooner or later anyway.

“I don’t even know what qualities of mine struck Nana’s fancy. Although I’m not ugly, I don’t have a

strong family background. I’m worlds apart from you, and you’re her eldest grandson. She was putting

you in a difficult spot when she assigned you to me and forced you to marry me.”

After a brief silence, Zachary replied, “Maybe it was because of that psychic.”

The psychic was someone Grandma May trusted most. He told her that Zachary and Serenity were

fated to be husband and wife. If Zachary let Serenity slip, he would have to stay single forever.

Grandma May could never let her favorite grandson be single for the rest of his life. After observing

Serenity’s character, she thought Serenity was a nice person. Therefore, she found an opportunity to

approach Serenity and tempted her to be Zachary’s wife.

The only unpredictable factor was Serenity’s eagerness to get married.

Grandma May thought she had to spend a year or two to convince Serenity. However, Serenity became

Zachary’s wife in a matter of months.

“Do you regret it, Zachary?” Serenity suddenly raised her head and asked him.novelbin

Zachary pinched her cheek and said, “I do. I regret it so very much.”

Serenity punched him lightly. “Get a divorce then. Do you think I can’t continue living without you?”

Zachary could not keep up the act. He held her fists and smiled. “I regret not knowing and marrying you

earlier.

“If I did, we could’ve spent more time together. I cherish all our moments together, Seren.”

Serenity’s expression relaxed, and she blushed. She leaned against his chest and hugged him tightly.

In the past, she would have been cool with getting a divorce if he did not love her.

Now that she loved him, losing him would cause her great pain.

Zachary was afraid of losing her and she felt the same.

He hugged her and said, “I’ll never divorce you. Let’s not speak of it casually too. It’ll hurt our

relationship.”

Serenity agreed. “I won’t talk about it anymore.”

She only mentioned it out of panic when he said he regretted his decision.

The couple continued whispering sweet nothings to each other. Soon, they arrived at the fresh produce

company Serenity and her friends started. The driver stopped the car.

Serenity took her bag and told Zachary, “You don’t have to get out of the car. Go to your office. You

must be busier as Josh is on leave.”

“I’ll accompany you inside.”

Zachary insisted on escorting Serenity to her office.

The employees greeted the couple with a smile when they saw them.
