Chapter 2802

Belinda started to smile again.

She felt more at ease now.

Deep down, she really hoped that Hayden could become her son-in-law.

It was evident that Hayden treated Caroline very well.

Although Caroline was not a stunner, she was not unattractive either. Belinda and Hunter were quite

good-looking when they were young, especially Hunter, who was a handsome man in his youth. That

was why she was drawn to him.

Belinda had believed that Caroline was Hayden’s cup of tea.

Now she understood that Hayden was not disliking anyone but was a girl herself.

“Hayden isn’t gay?”

Hunter was puzzled. “Then why would he accept Kevin?”

“Take a guess.”

“I can’t.”novelbin

With a chuckle, Belinda said, “Hayden attended the Reading family’s banquet tonight wearing a formal

dress. Since Mrs. Reading and Mrs. Queen are acquainted, Mrs. Reading might have spoken a few

words to Hayden when she saw him in the dress. She made passing remarks, and Hayden replied by

saying he was originally a woman but dressed as a man for convenience.

“To sum it up, Hayden isn’t Mr. Hayden, she’s Ms. Hayden, a woman dressed as a man.

“She’s a woman in the first place, so how could she like our daughter? Her acceptance of Kevin’s

affection is what’s normal.”

Hunter was left dumbfounded.

Hayden was actually a woman!

Was it true?

Celine must have felt devastated.

Hunter’s first thought was how sad Celine would be.

In reality, Celine had not received the news yet.

She was expelled from Fisher Manor, wandering penniless near the manor.

Adrian, out of sibling affection, secretly took Celine to a small villa under his name, allowing her to stay

temporarily.

When their parents returned from the hospital and their mother’s anger subsided, they would then try to

plead for Celine.

Even if they could not bring her back into the mansion, they wanted to at least give Celine a way out.

Now, Celine had nothing.

Adrian and the brothers felt sorry for her, but they could not do much. They did not even dare openly

assist Celine, fearing their wives might cause trouble if they found out. This could lead to complaints to

their mother or Caroline, and they would end up being blamed.

“I’ve noticed that Hayden treats Carol quite well. Whenever Carol got bullied at banquets, Hayden

always helped her out. Although it’s impossible for Hayden to become our son-in-law, I can’t help but

fantasize about it.

“Now I understand. It’s not that our daughter isn’t good enough; it’s because Hayden isn’t who we

thought her to be.”

Hunter was speechless.

Caroline did not deserve someone like Hayden.

Caroline was indeed his biological daughter, but she grew up in the countryside and was not as good

as Celine in various aspects.

Hunter did not dare to voice such thoughts.
