Liberty did not know what to say. She simply hugged Duncan in silence.
After some time, Duncan pushed her away and said gently, “Go rest. It’s late. Good night.”
“Good night. Rest well. You still have to travel back to Wiltspoon tomorrow.”
After wishing each other, Liberty left Duncan’s room. He saw her out in his wheelchair and only closed
the door when she entered her room next door.
The night passed.
Duncan left Fortress Hotel after breakfast the next morning with Liberty seeing him off.
She did not send him to the airport. She just watched from the hotel’s entrance as he got into the car
and left.
If she followed him to the airport, she would probably find the separation more unbearable.
When Duncan’s car was no longer in sight, Liberty brought her bodyguards to the two cars she was
temporarily using.
Duncan left for Wiltspoon. She had to continue working as well.
Time passed quickly when one was immersed in work.
Daylight was consumed by the night sky in the blink of an eye.
Kevin did not know that Hayden was not returning to the company in the evening. He drove to Queen
Enterprise to wait for her work to end as usual.
Then, they would go and have a meal together.
Hayden was busy and did not have much time to spend with Kevin. The times they spent sharing a
meal every day were the best chances for them to bond.
Kevin drove to the company and parked at his usual spot. He grabbed the bouquet from the passenger
seat and got out of the car.
He met Hugh, who was walking out of the building. Hugh was walking while discussing something with
his senior executives.
They stopped in their tracks when they spotted Kevin.
“Why are you here?” Hugh asked.
Kevin was confused. He asked in return, “Why can’t I come to your company?”
He had been visiting Queen Enterprise every day.
Hugh could not possibly chase him out.
If he dared to, Kevin would call Donnie immediately and complain to him.
While Hayden was Queen Enterprise’s CEO, most of the company shares were still under Donald. He
still held the highest leadership position in the company.
In the past, Hayden had told the security to stop Kevin from entering the company. However, it was
useless.
Once Donald gave him the special privilege to enter and leave the company freely, even Hayden could
not do anything about it.
Hugh laughed. “My brother isn’t here. Are you here to look for me? This bouquet is for me, right?novelbin
Come, let me hold it. You must be tired from holding such a huge bouquet. Since it’s for me, I can hold
it myself.”
As he talked, he extended his arms to take the huge rose bouquet from Kevin’s hands.
He added, “I’ve never received flowers from a handsome guy all my life. You have good taste, Kevin.
The bouquet is beautiful. I have to take a picture and show it off on my socials. My girl besties should
learn from you and give me bouquets as huge as this.”
Kevin slapped Hugh’s hand away.
The senior executives watched from the side quietly. They thought, ‘Are both of Mr. Donald’s sons
attracted to Kevin?’
