Chapter 2766

Serenity suddenly thought of the psychic who predicted her marriage with Zachary and said that the

couple would be happy and have children of both genders.

If she were to have a daughter, would she be able to raise her to adulthood?

If her fate mirrored that of the York family’s past generations, she would rather not give birth to anovelbin

daughter. Serenity could not bear the thought of seeing her child gradually lose breath before her eyes.

It would be an unbearable heartache.

If there were concerns about the energy flow at Wildridge Manor, the psychic insisted that it was not

about the manor’s layout or location. Rather, the psychic acknowledged that the family was divined to

prosper for generations.

“Seren, what’s wrong? Your face suddenly changed.”

Noticing Serenity’s change in expression, Elisa asked with concern.

“Is it because of what I said about the York family losing their daughters? Don’t worry, you’re definitely

having a son this time. Sonny mentioned it several times, saying that you’re carrying a little boy.

“Besides, even if you have a daughter, with the advancement of medical technology and all the

prenatal check-ups you’ve done, the baby will be healthy. The York family’s past generations lived in a

different era. Medical science wasn’t advanced back then, even a common cold could be fatal.

“Think about it, life in ancient imperial palaces was good, right? Yet, some princes and princesses still

died young.”

After Elisa finished speaking, she also put her arm around Serenity’s shoulder, deliberately adding,

“You don’t have such good luck to have a daughter for Zachary. Your fate as a couple is to have sons.

Don’t dwell on unhappy things. Look at how pale you’ve become from fright.

“The things I’ve prepared for your baby are all for a boy. You must give birth to a son.”

Serenity reluctantly steadied her emotions.

She had not even given birth to a daughter yet, why worry about this now?

Moreover, the psychic said that she would have kids of both genders. Even if her second child turned

out to be a daughter, she could still raise her daughter to adulthood safely and healthily.

Or maybe she would not have a second child.

Only raising a single child.

The Yorks were prosperous. Even if she had only one child, it would not affect them much. After all, her

future sisters-in-law could have more children in her stead.

After consoling herself, Serenity’s mood improved. She said, “My baby’s going to be my treasure, no

matter if it’s a son or a daughter. Who knows if it’s a boy or a girl now? We can only find out next year.”

“It’s gotta be a son. The Yorks haven’t had a daughter for a few generations. If your firstborn is a girl, it

would be incredible. The York family will treat both of you like royalties,” Elisa said with a laugh.

“Look at Clo-clo, she’s enjoying the treatment of a little princess. She’s been sleeping for a long time

now. When will she wake up? I want to hold her again. If Jane took the child back, it would be a long

time before we could meet again.”

Jane smiled and said, “We’re going to be family soon. You can see Clo-Clo anytime you want, but I’m

afraid you’ll find her too mischievous in the future.”

“Clo-clo is a girl, I think she won’t be too mischievous. I think she’ll grow up to be a refined and

beautiful lady.”

Serenity added, “All children have their mischievous moments. Look at Sonny, everyone says he’s

sensible and cute. Even he has his mischievous side. If you feel like it’s too quiet and something’s off,

it’s gotta be Sonny causing trouble.”
