In the car, Duncan sent Liberty a message to notify her that he had arrived in Jensburg.
Liberty assumed he was still on the way. When she received his message, she quickly gave him a call.
“Duncan.”
When Duncan picked up, Liberty asked, “Where are you? Are you at the airport? Wait for me. I’ll pick
you up.”
“You don’t have to. I rented a car. I’m in front of Fortress Hotel now. If you’re at the hotel, you can spot
me once you come out.”
Liberty said, “Okay. I’ll head downstairs now.”
She had just returned because she thought about Duncan.
If he did not mention he was coming over and informed her of his arrival time, Liberty would not have
been back in the hotel. She would be out and about for the establishment of her company.
