Chapter 2732

Hunter, realizing his words, hurriedly continued, “Honey, it’s the alcohol’s fault. There must be

something wrong with the drinks. Celine and I behaved like that because of the alcohol. You arranged a

banquet tonight and someone must have tampered with the drinks.novelbin

“It’s that person, her name’s Liberty, right? She is the descendant of your sister. Many people say

you’ve caused your sister’s death, and she’s here for revenge, to retaliate against you. She doesn’t

want your life to be easy. She knows you cherish Celine the most, and since Celine isn’t our biological

daughter, she designed it to affect both of us and strike at you.”

Belinda knew there was a problem with the drinks.

She sneered, “Liberty didn’t touch the drinks from the moment she entered until she left. How could she

have schemed against you and Celine? Hunter, even if you two were drugged, it couldn’t have been

Liberty’s doing, even though I knew she came to Jensburg for the sake of the Fisher family.

“I may be old, but I’m not senile. If you want to push this onto Liberty, it won’t work. Tonight, besides

Liberty, there was also Mr. Hayden and Mr. Kevin. They were all present, and so were many others

from the family.

“Don’t talk about Liberty. You can’t find a scapegoat even among the Fishers. The one who brought you

the meal was Celine. She also brought you a bottle of unopened wine but the wine you drank was from

Adrian.”

“Did Adrian scheme against you?”

As the analysis turned to their eldest son, Belinda’s face became even more grim.

Hunter was also shocked.

He did not expect his eldest son to plot against him.

It seemed implausible. Adrian was his first child, and when Hunter first became a father, he had a

special affection for the firstborn. Additionally, his son carried his surname. His love for his daughter

was meant to foster a good father-daughter relationship, anticipating more benefits for the family when

his daughter ascended.

Sons, however, were his most beloved, bearing his surname Clark to carry on the legacy of the Clark

family.

“Adrian didn’t need to do this.”

Belinda added coldly, “He wouldn’t expect Celine to be the one to bring food upstairs for you. It’s

unlikely to be Adrian.”

Hunter replied, “It couldn’t be Adrian… He’s my biological son. He would never do this to me. Dear, I’ve

been set up. You have to believe me. No matter how lecherous I am, I wouldn’t do anything with

Celine.”

“But you two already did,” Belinda said coldly.

“I can never forget that scene. As for Celine, I’ve expelled her. She wasn’t part of my Fisher family to

begin with. She isn’t my daughter. Her biological father did something that harmed us, but considering

our twenty-plus years of mother-daughter relationship, I won’t hold her accountable.

“But she did that with my partner... I don’t care how it happened between you two; I can’t tolerate it.

From now on, she is no longer part of my Fisher family. I’ll take back everything I’ve given her. She’s

just a butler’s daughter!

“My real daughter is Caroline! As for you, Hunter Clark, you resent me deep down and you’ve been

contemplating betraying me for a long time. You’ve had a history of infidelity. Whatever you say, I won’t

believe you ever again. Now, I’m giving you two options—either divorce or leave the Fisher family.

“Or, castration. Only by becoming a eunuch can I trust you and our marriage to continue until death do

us part. That way, I’ll leave you with some dignity.”

Hunter’s face paled.

Belinda stood up, walked behind the desk, and opened a drawer. She retrieved a pair of scissors

before tossing it to Hunter.

Belinda sat at the desk, coldly watching while her husband made a choice.

Hunter trembled uncontrollably.

Divorce would be the death of him; Belinda would not let him off the hook.

Despite her magnanimous words, she would not make it easy for him to nurse her own grievances.
