Liberty agreed.
Caroline ended the call.
“Let me go. I want to meet Mom. I want to meet her. Let me go.”
Celine, who had woken up, was dressed appropriately. However, she was being hauled downstairs by
two of her sisters-in-law while the other was following them from behind with some clothes.
The three Clark brothers dared not utter a word. They simply stared at their father.
Hunter’s face was pale. He sat on the ground, having no energy to stand up. His sons had dressed
him, yet he still felt as if he was naked in front of them.
His mind was blank. He did not know how everything transpired.
Looking at Celine being dragged away by his daughters-in-law, he showed fear but still could not say a
word.
Hunter would not have a good ending himself.
He was fully aware of how ruthless his wife was.
He and the Clark family would be plunged into misery for offending her, especially him. His life would

She had grown up with them coddling her. They spoiled her with love because they knew she was the

Adrian saw the bottle he had brought to Hunter was empty. He said, “The alcohol I brought you was a
strong one, Dad. People get drunk easily after drinking it, yet you and Celine finished every drop.”

Hunter wanted to say something, but the words got stuck in his throat.
He was not drunk.
Although the alcohol was strong, he and Celine could hold their liquor well. Even half a bottle of strong
