Chapter 2728

Emma asked cautiously, “Are we really doing that? Aren’t we going to wait for Celine to wake up and

hear what she has to say?”

Belinda glared at her eldest daughter-in-law. “Are my words powerless now? Do what I tell you. Go. Do

it right now. If not, pack your things and get lost.”

Emma was startled. She quickly replied, “We’ll do it now, Mom. Please don’t be angry. It’s not worth

affecting your health.”

Emma squinted her eyes at Ava and Ellie, hinting at them to follow her to deal with Celine.

The butler arrived upstairs.

She dared not make a sound after hearing her boss’s angry voice.

After her sisters-in-law left, Caroline spotted the butler.

“Calm down, Mom. Have some tea.”

Caroline passed a teacup to Belinda. After downing half a cup of tea, Belinda was still as furious as

ever. Therefore, Caroline walked toward the butler, Elaine, and asked in a soft voice, “What’s wrong?”

“There was a car accident when Ms. Hunt was on her way home, Ms. Caroline. Her car was overturned

and burned.”

“What?”

Caroline’s expression fell.novelbin

Elaine quickly explained, “Ms. Hunt is unharmed. She left the house in Mr. Queen’s car. Her

bodyguards had drunk alcohol, so our bodyguards were helping her to drive her cars back.

“The car that was involved in the accident belonged to Ms. Hunt, but the victim who passed away was

our bodyguard.”

Elaine glanced at Belinda and whispered to Caroline, “Should we inform the madam of this, Ms.

Caroline?”

Caroline relaxed when she heard Liberty was unharmed. She whispered back, “I’ll inform Mom when

the time is right. Have you sent someone to handle the accident? Who’s the victim? Contact his family

and compensate them accordingly.”

Elaine replied, “I’ve already had someone manage the situation. The victim’s parents are dead. He has

one younger brother who has just graduated from university and is currently working in Jensburg.”

“Call him to come over then.”

“I’ll contact him now,” Elaine said and nodded before looking toward Belinda again and hesitating.

Caroline said, “Let everyone go home. No one is allowed to spread anything that happened here

tonight.”

“Okay.”

Truth be told, the butler was still clueless about what took place upstairs and why Belinda was in such

a rage.

She had heard the madam talking about chasing Ms. Celine out and returning her to her birth family.

Belinda loved Ms. Celine. Even after Ms. Caroline had returned, she never made Ms. Celine leave.

What did Ms. Celine do to incur Madam Fisher’s wrath? She was determined to chase Ms. Celine out

and confiscate everything she had.

Was Ms. Celine not just bringing Mr. Clark’s food upstairs?

What could have happened?

Elaine dared not ask any questions.

She simply executed whatever Ms. Caroline had ordered.

After the butler left, Caroline first called Liberty. She asked how she was doing and apologized.

Liberty said, “You can handle your family matters first. The bodyguard had died because of me. I want

to thank his family and express my apology when they come over to arrange for his funeral. I’ll

compensate them for this as well.

“If it weren’t for my bodyguards drinking, which led to your butler arranging for him to drive my car, this

wouldn’t have happened to him.”

Caroline said, “This is an accident. It isn’t your fault.”
