Chapter 2712

Whether Liberty contended or not, Belinda’s position will not fall to them.

Unless all the females of the Fisher family perished, only then would they have a chance to succeed

Belinda.

“Look at how warm Caroline is toward Liberty, it’s like they’re sisters.”

Even though they were by right aunt and niece, based on Caroline’s attitude toward Liberty, it genuinely

seemed like they were sisters.

Liberty also gave face to Caroline, treating her with courtesy.

Celine’s jealousy toward Caroline surfaced again. Everything Caroline possessed—power, status,

identity—originally belonged to her.

Without Caroline, she would still belong in the Fisher family, second only to her mother, capable of

controlling everything.

Others used to flatter and fawn over her, unlike now where nobody paid attention to her when she

walked out.

Her close friends had gradually distanced themselves from her due to the change in her status.

Celine realized that they had become her friends only because of her status. After she became her

mother’s goddaughter, even though she still carried the Fisher surname, she was a fake heiress in the

eyes of others.

Those people were genuine heiresses with different ranks, and now, she had distanced from them.

Even many wealthy heirs who used to think highly of her had shifted their focus to Caroline, even

though Caroline’s appearance could not hold a candle to hers.

What a materialistic society.

“Caroline often puts on an act and we were all deceived by her before. Let’s go inside. Mom asked usnovelbin

to welcome guests. If they’re inside and we stay outside, who knows if Caroline will badmouth us in

front of Mom?”

“Dad won’t show up tonight. Let’s go and persuade Dad later.”

Adrian sighed and cautioned his siblings, “Anyway, lately, we all have to toe the line. Let’s not make

any more mistakes. Otherwise, Mom will really kick us out of Fisher Manor.”

Justine muttered, “I’m quite attached to that stunner of mine.”

His side chick had the looks and figure—far more captivating than his wife who seemed conservative

and dull.

After his wife bore two children, her figure could not match those of the girls he met outside.

Belinda ordered the three sons to sever ties with their mistresses. If they refused, they would be

expelled from the family, unable to maintain their status as descendants of the Fisher family, or have

any dealings with other family members, effectively cutting ties with the family.

Jason remarked, “You could have a friend officially sponsor her, but we’d be the ones footing the bill.

Then, during social gatherings with that friend, we could somewhat soothe our longing.”

That was just who he was and that was exactly what he did—cutting ties openly but continuing to enjoy

life in secret.

Once they had strayed, it was tough to turn a new leaf.

Despite their wives having good backgrounds and looks, they became weary after seeing them for so

long.

How many men did not yearn for novelty?

Jason had sponsored around eight of these mistresses. After getting bored, he would introduce these

women to other men, passing on the sponsorship to ensure their material comfort without causing a

scandal.

Anyway, for those women who could not appear in public, all they pursued was a luxurious lifestyle.

They did not care if they changed their man one after another, as long as they could continue to live in

luxury.

“Jason, keep your voice down. If someone overhears and spills to my sister-in-law, she’ll make a

scene. Then Mom will lecture you all over again. You’re once bitten yet not twice shy.”

Celine warned his brother.
