Chapter 2711

Adrian, accompanied by his siblings, walked up to Liberty. He politely introduced himself, “Ms. Hunt, I’m

Adrian, the eldest in my family. According to the family tree, you should address me as Uncle Adrian.”

“These are my brothers. As for Celine, I believe you’ve made an acquaintance.”

Adrian introduced his siblings to Liberty.

Liberty nodded politely and addressed him as Mr. Clark and not Uncle Adrian.

When meeting with Belinda, she did not refer to her as “grandaunt” either, let alone Adrian.

Furthermore, Belinda had not publicly acknowledged that Audrey Stone and Lisa Hunt were her nieces.

When Belinda visited the Stone family, her attitude was clearly that of an adversary. Family ties did not

matter between enemies, especially when there was no affection involved.

There were only grudges.

Celine commented, “A child without parental upbringing will always lack manners. They don’t even

greet their elders properly.”

Liberty looked at her and retorted, “Who might you be, in terms of seniority? Belinda has never required

me to call her aunt, so who are you? You’re not even recognized by the Fisher family. What right do

you have here to bark like a mad dog?”

A few words left Celine speechless and her face turning red.

It was futile trying to establish a senior position in front of Liberty.

“Liberty, let’s go inside. My mom has been waiting for you.”

Caroline ignored Celine and smiled while leading Liberty toward the main house.

While they walked, Caroline introduced the beautiful scenery of Fisher Manor to Liberty.

Adrian and his siblings stayed where they were, not immediately following them.

Celine, frustrated, turned to her big brother, and said, “Adrian, do you see how Caroline is growing

more disrespectful toward us?

“Plus, who does Liberty think she is? She’s just an orphan, a divorced woman. Does she think she’s a

queen? Coming here expecting us to greet her, yet she doesn’t show us any courtesy. We’re her

elders, and she just addressed you as Mr. Clark, so distant, no manners at all.”

Adrian said, “Mom didn’t tell everyone that Liberty is Aunt Tiara’s granddaughter. Naturally, she

wouldn’t randomly acknowledge us relatives.”

“Tonight, Mom arranged a feast for prominent family members and invited Liberty. I think Mom intends

to publicly acknowledge Liberty as Aunt Tiara’s granddaughter. Perhaps when it’s made public, she’ll

let her acknowledge her relatives then,” said Justin.

Jason then remarked, “Logically speaking, Mom wouldn’t do this. If she acknowledges Liberty’s identity,

won’t those in the family automatically gather around her? There’s gossip outside that Aunt Tiara was

killed by our mom. Even if it’s just a rumor, as time passes and more people hear it, there are bound to

be believers.”

After pondering for a moment, Adrian said, “Whatever Mom wants to do, what she does, isn’tnovelbin

something we can control or change. Look, even if that’s her intention, it’s not our concern. The one

who should be worried is Caroline.”

Caroline was currently the heir to the Fishers. If the family members rallied around Liberty and she

became a leading force, it would undoubtedly challenge Caroline for the position of the matriarch.

As a descendant of the former matriarch, if she wanted to contend for the head of the family position, it

was quite reasonable.

Therefore, the one who should be worried was Caroline, not them.

Their surname was Clark!

Not Fisher.
