Chapter 2705

Kevin said, “I’m meeting Hayden at her office later. I’ll ask her if she has time tonight. We won’t have to

worry about Madam Fisher attacking you if we’re there with you. We’re letting her know that even if you

came here alone, you have people backing you.

“She’ll have to think twice before murdering you in Jensburg. She has to be wary of Hayden’s influence

in Jensburg, if not ours.”

“Is it a good idea to get Hayden involved? The Queens and Fishers have been coexisting peacefully.

We can’t drag her into this because of our grudge against the Fishers.”

Getting Kevin involved was inevitable as Serenity was Kevin’s sister-in-law. Even if Kevin did nothing,

Belinda would still consider him as Liberty’s ally.

Kevin said, “Don’t say that. Hayden’s my future wife. She’ll be the York family’s young missus and

Serenity’s sister-in-law. People will know that she’s on our side without her doing anything.”

Liberty laughed at him. “You’re declaring her as your wife even though you haven’t won her heart. How

shameless. I think Hayden can’t take your shamelessness. Tough women are afraid of clingy men.”

Kevin was a super clingy man.

He said, “Zachary gave me a piece of advice based on his experience. He said I should be as

shameless as possible when wooing a girl.”

Liberty was speechless.

It seemed like Zachary had gathered some advice for his brothers despite not having much experience

himself.

“It’s settled then, Liberty. Hayden and I will accompany you to Fisher Manor tonight.”

Liberty thought about it and agreed to it eventually. She did not reject the idea of getting Hayden

involved.

Hayden was already in deep anyway.

“You should get on with your work. I’ll take a walk and meet you in the evening.”

Kevin agreed and proceeded to see Liberty off.

After she entered the elevator, he walked back and called Hayden.

Hayden was busy. When she saw his incoming call, she could not be bothered to answer it.

Therefore, Kevin sent her a message instead about them accompanying Liberty to Fisher Manor for the

banquet tonight.

After a long while, Hayden replied with one word: [Okay.]

Sitting behind his office desk, Kevin stared at the one-worded reply the person he loved sent him.

Then, he took out the love letter that he had yet finished writing. After looking at his pages-long letter,

he thought she was stingy for only replying to him with one word.

“I know you’re busier than I am, so I’ll let this slide. Who asked me to be in love with you?”

He was the one who fell first.

“I should be content that you still replied a word amid your busy schedule,” Kevin muttered to himself.

Next, he took a pen and was about to continue writing his love letter when he suddenly could not find

the right words.

He murmured again, “My inspiration was cut off when Liberty came. I don’t know what to write now.

Forget it. Let’s write some cheesy confessions.”

Kevin wrote “I love you” behind the letter repeatedly.

Liberty was unaware that she had disrupted Kevin’s creative flow. She had never written one herself.

However, she had received many of them back in school. Even Hank himself had written countless love

letters to her before.

Love was simple back then.

It was nothing like what it had become after having been tainted by many different factors over time.novelbin

Liberty roamed the streets of Jensburg. She knew Belinda was watching her every movement. So be it.

She was also keeping an eye on the Fisher family’s actions.

Time passed quickly as she went city sightseeing. Evening came in the blink of an eye.

Liberty returned to Fortress Hotel, but Kevin was not back yet. He sent Liberty a message, telling her to

wait at the hotel. He would be back soon after picking Hayden up.
