Chapter 2636

After the bodyguards restrained the woman, Belinda beat her up until her face was utterly bruised, so

much so she was almost unrecognizable.

“Belinda.”

Hunter was worried that she would beat the woman to death. He also felt sorry for the woman he had

been intimate with for some time and went to pull Belinda’s hand away.

By doing so, he had redirected Belinda’s wrath onto himself.

She turned and slapped him across the face.

Belinda started hitting her husband without caring that they were in public.

At that moment, Kevin, who had been watching the commotion unfold, stepped forward.

“Madam Fisher,” said Kevin.

Only then did Belinda stop hitting Hunter.

She looked toward the person who called her and realized it was Kevin. She seemed to have snapped

back to her senses and adjusted her clothes, which were messy from hitting her husband and the

woman. She said, “Mr. Kevin.”

“I just returned and had no idea what happened here, but this is my hotel. You should have some

mercy and not kill anyone here. It’d be terrible if the reputation of Fortress Hotel is tarnished.”

Belinda was formidable. She was utterly merciless when beating her husband and his mistress up.

Many people did not recognize Hunter but the woman had earlier revealed that he was Belinda’s

husband. The spectators now knew his identity.

Hunter was the Fisher family’s live-in son-in-law. Not only was he caught red-handed for cheating, but

he was also beaten up publicly at the entrance of a hotel. His pride was gone.

Kevin dared say that Hunter would despise Belinda with all his heart.

Belinda took a few deep breaths.

She apologized to Kevin, “I’m sorry, Mr. Kevin. I was overcome with anger and forgot this was Fortress

Hotel. I’ll take Hunter back now. Please rest assured that I won’t dirty your place.”

Kevin looked toward the bruised, disheveled Hunter. He told Belinda, “What did your husband do

wrong? How could he possibly face others in the future after suffering a public beating from you?”

Customers of Fortress Hotel were mainly members of Jensburg’s high society. News would travel fast

through the mouths of those who had witnessed the scene. Hunter would never be able to hold his

head high again.

Belinda said icily, “He did something shameful. He deserves to lose his dignity. I apologize for letting

you witness something unseemly. We’ll be leaving now.”novelbin

After speaking, she ordered her two bodyguards, “Take Hunter back.”

As for the woman who was in bad shape, Belinda glared at her viciously but did not haul her back with

her.

She had to investigate the identity of the bitch’s backer. If he were the person she had in mind, she

would complain to him and destroy the woman’s source of income.

If the man got furious and wanted to vent his anger, she could hand Hunter for the man to unleash his

wrath on. However, Hunter had already been taught a lesson. The tycoon probably would not want to

torture him further.

After all, the woman was just a plaything to him.

Belinda doubted that the man would make himself an enemy of the Fisher family over a plaything.

Hunter was dragged into the car by the bodyguards. Soon, all of them left Fortress Hotel.
