Chapter 2618

Dylan had finally met the woman who had been appearing in his dreams but he proceeded to do

something that angered her without even learning her name. However, he never expected her to know

his name, and she even went to York Corporation to look for him.

Dylan felt guilty. Although he had not gone overboard, he felt sorry and feared Callum would get the

truth out of him.

Zachary accompanied Serenity to the inpatient department. She held a bouquet while Zachary had a

few bags with him.

They kept a low profile and did not bring their bodyguards, even wearing sunglasses and masks to

avoid being recognized by others.

Zachary and Serenity took the elevator to the ob-gyn wards. Serenity quickened her pace once she

stepped out of the elevator.

Zachary followed her closely and reminded her, “Walk slowly. We’re reaching soon. Why are you in

such a rush?”novelbin

“Alice is getting discharged today.”

Zachary chuckled. “We can visit the baby at Aunt Audrey’s house after Alice is discharged.”

Serenity adored the baby.

She liked children, even more so after she got pregnant.

“I can, but you’ll only be able to see the baby when he’s a month old.”

“That’s Clive’s son, not mine. I’m fine with not seeing him for a month, but I’ll want to see my son every

day. After you give birth, I’ll take forty days of leave and accompany you at home. We’ll watch our child

grow together.”

Serenity said, “You’re not the one who has to recuperate from birthing. You don’t need to be on leave

for that long. There are many people in the house. I don’t need you to care for me yourself.”

“I want to be by your side. Compared to what you’ll go through at childbirth and raising our children,

putting my work aside to be with you is nothing.”

Zachary’s words had managed to slow Serenity down. He took his wife’s hand in his, and they talked

as they walked.

Alice had opted for a natural birth. She could have been discharged earlier, but Clive had insisted that

she remain hospitalized for a few more days. He only agreed to let her go home after the doctor gave

the green light.

The Stones and Lafayettes had come to fetch Alice and her son from the hospital. The ward was filled

with people.

Alice had received many bouquets too.

When she saw Serenity entering with another bouquet, she smiled and said, “I’ve already received

plenty of bouquets, Serenity. The baby has also gotten many new clothes and presents.”

Her son was born with a golden spoon.

As the eldest grandson of the Stone family, he was destined to be showered with love.
