Chapter 2599

Everyone turned to look at Kai.

He chuckled and said, “Quinn doesn’t have a boyfriend anyway. If Mr. Bucham defeats Coach Will, I’ll

bring them together without anyone asking me.”

To the children, Quinn and Julian were a match made in heaven; both were very good-looking

individuals.

It was Kai’s first time seeing such a handsome man. Julian looked better than those idols that the girls

in his class admired. He also had a noble charisma.

Essentially, Kai thought Julian was great.

His impression of Julian would improve if he could beat Coach Will and let him split ten thousand

dollars between himself and Quinn.

Mark said, “This kid. You should work harder, Julian. Kai said he’d help to get you and Quinn together

for free if he could win the bet.”

“Don’t add on to Kai’s nonsense, Mark.”

Quinn was about to die from laughter.

She kicked Kai lightly and scolded, “You made me laugh so hard.”

Kai giggled and even Will smiled. He asked Julian, “Should I lose on purpose?”

“You’ll lose, but not because you’re letting me win on purpose. I can defeat you without luck,” Julian

said confidently.

Will admired his confidence.

They had been going at it for more than ten minutes now. Will dared not underestimate Julian anymore,

realizing that Julian had been hiding his true strength.

He even suspected Julian could defeat him easily but purposefully prolonged the match. If he were to

lose, Julian could use the excuse that he won by luck or because Will had gone easy on him.

That way, it would not be as shameful for Will.

Well, Will’s guess was on the right track.

Julian thought he would draw the match out before beating Will with a tricky move. The coaches in the

crowd had sharp eyes. By doing so, Julian could preserve Will’s pride. That being said, Will was a

formidable opponent. Julian dared not let his guard down too.novelbin

“I admire your confidence, Julian. You’re strong. Quinn wasn’t wrong.”

Will would not get mad or jealous if Julian were to defeat him.

After completing his systemic training, he participated in countless competitions. His father often told

him there would always be someone better than him. While he might have been the best fighter in

Summervale, he was not one of the top in the country.

He would meet many opponents who were more skilled than he was.

Dave also told Will not to be arrogant or envious. Instead, he needed to admire someone else’s talent

and accept wins or losses with an open mind.

Echoing Quinn’s words, the Crawfords prioritized sportsmanship.

As the future owner of Power Fitness, Will bore that mindset.

He was tolerant and broad-minded.

Julian replied, “You’re the best fighter I’ve ever encountered, Will.”

The match went on for about an hour. Then, Julian seized a risky opportunity and pinned Will to the

ground.
