Chapter 2591

Quinn had always treated Julian like a buddy and the Crawfords had eliminated him from the list of

potential son-in-law candidates.

Zoey took her phone back and said, “Let’s wait for any updates tomorrow. You can go over if Felicia

doesn’t cancel the date. The boba shop isn’t too far from our gym anyway.

“Bring a dress and a pair of heels with you when you go to work tomorrow. You should change into

them to look more ladylike if the date isn’t canceled. Stop dressing up like a bodyguard every day.

Anyone would be afraid that you’d swing a punch at them.”

“Look at the weather, Mom. It’s impossible to wear a dress. Do you want me to catch a cold?”

Quinn glanced at Julian’s glass. She wanted to steal a few sips.

“Who said anything about a summer dress? You can wear one that’s suitable for winter.”

“I don’t have dresses in my closet, Mom. I’ve never worn a dress since I became an adult.”

Quinn did not like wearing dresses. It would get in the way during her practice.

“I can’t walk in high heels too. It’ll hold me back from exerting my full strength if I were to get in a fight.”

Julian commented, “That won’t happen. Getting a kick from heels hurts like hell. If your opponents

attempt to escape, you can even take the heels off and throw at them. It’ll cause them enough pain

too.”

The Crawfords looked at him.

Julian said embarrassedly, “I just happened to have watched those in dramas. I didn’t intend on

teaching Quinn how to fight.”novelbin

“Quinn mentioned that you’re skilled in martial arts, Julian. You hid it last time and even wanted to

make my dad your coach. Let’s have a friendly match in the gym later to evaluate your skills,” said Will.

Julian replied humbly, “I only know some basics. I don’t even think that counts as martial arts. That’s

why I kept it a secret. I was afraid that Dave might test me on the spot. It’d be embarrassing if I couldn’t

hold my own against him.”

“Don’t be so humble. Although Quinn isn’t as good as me and Mark, she’s still pretty sharp when it

comes to evaluating someone’s skills. She could tell that you’re trained from your moves and reactions.

“I’ve participated in countless competitions throughout my life. I’ve lost some but won most. I would

always lose by a slight margin, which annoyed me. I haven’t met an opponent who can make me admit

my defeat.

“Let’s have a friendly later. I’ve been itching to do this since Quinn told me you’re trained. It’s set then.

We’ll walk to the gym after dinner and have our match there.

“There’s enough space to go all out in the gym. It can be an eye-opener for my students to prevent

them from getting arrogant.”

Julian looked toward Quinn. She was smiling. “I just mentioned it in passing, Julian. I didn’t think he’d

keep it in mind. Why don’t you accept his invitation?”

She wanted to know how good Julian was as well. From her past observation, he was extremely

skilled. However, he moved too quickly when he was fighting the bad guys. She could not see his

moves clearly nor gauge the level of his abilities.

“Okay then. I’ll fight Will after this.”

Julian agreed.

As for Quinn’s blind date, he was not concerned about it at all.

He would never allow another man to woo her in his presence.
