Chapter 2576

No wonder Celine always gritted her teeth at the mention of Kevin. She would curse at Kevin for being

shameless and snatching Hayden away.

“You can make Mr. Kevin the one who exposes the scandal. He’s already targeting the Fisher family.”

Kevin was an enemy to them.

As he recalled the Fishers and Audrey’s relationship, Darren sighed. He knew that Caroline would not

stand against those in Wiltspoon. She even wanted to investigate the previous matriarch, Tiara’s death.

Darren dared say that if there was evidence pointing out that Madam Fisher was responsible for Tiara’s

death, Caroline would refuse to succeed the Fisher family and go as far as to leave the family to

wherever she yearned to be.

Caroline was not as weak as she seemed. In fact, before returning to the Fisher family, she was

already a successful young entrepreneur. She only hid that fact because her adoptive parents

constantly wanted to take advantage of her.

Therefore, she allowed others to misunderstand that she was useless and that Celine still had the

chance to be the next matriarch.

How ridiculous was that? The Fisher family’s rules would never change.

Celine was not Belinda’s biological daughter, nor was she capable enough. Even if she was talented,

she had already lost the right to be the heir as she was not of true Fisher blood.

“There’s no need to do that. Kevin will reveal the truth either way. He doesn’t want the Fisher family to

thrive anyway. With that evidence, he’ll take action without us spurring him on and watch the drama

unfold from the sidelines.

“Serenity is his sister-in-law,” said Caroline. “Zachary’s brothers and cousins revered her too.”

Darren agreed. “We can wait and see.”novelbin

They would wait until Kevin exposes the scandal to Belinda.

“Go and have your lunch. I’m done with mine.”

“Okay.”

Caroline hung up.

Darren moved the phone away from his ear and only placed it back into his pocket after staring at it for

some time. Then, he took a bag from the passenger seat.

He would be eating takeout too.

Since he was always running about, he did not have time to cook or sit down and enjoy a meal. He

would always buy his food beforehand and eat it in the car after he was done with work.

Caroline had suggested that he buy an RV. He could definitely afford one with his income.

However, he would only buy it if she needed him to prepare her food every day. Otherwise, an RV was

unnecessary.

If even Caroline could eat takeout, why could he not do the same when he was an ordinary person?

Darren had lived a tough life since he was brought into the training camp and went through intense

drills. Being assigned to Caroline was the happiest thing that had ever happened to him.

If he did not pass his assessments, he would not be deemed worthy to be the assistant to the matriarch

or her heir. Instead, he would be assigned to be the bodyguard of other Fisher family members, such

as the young masters.

As an orphan who grew up in the training camp, becoming Caroline’s assistant was the best outcome

for him.

After Caroline cleaned up after lunch in her office, she leaned back into the chair and rewatched the

videos Darren sent her. She wanted to watch them in detail before deleting them.
