Chapter 2559

Someone probably upset Camryn and unleashed her pent-up resentment. Perhaps that was why she

wanted to clear the room.

Additionally, Camryn did not know the password to the room; not even he knew.

Paige kept many things from Trenton as she felt he was siding with Camryn.

Camryn was honest and told him all about Carrie’s early release from prison and her entering the villa

that morning.

Trenton sighed. It turned out that his troublemaker sister was out of jail.

The Newman family would no longer be peaceful.

He said, “You can move my parents' things to my room and tell Carrie to retrieve her stuff. You may

clear her room too.”

Since the house belonged to Camryn, she could decide not to let Carrie live in it.

Trenton could not plead for forgiveness in Carrie’s stead. He knew better than anyone how Carrie

tortured Camryn in the past.

It seemed like Carrie had not turned over a new leaf after spending so much time in jail. Her putting on

good behavior was merely a show for an early release.

“Also, let me know when you’re settling the inheritance dispute in court. Carrie can’t get too much

money. She won’t be able to hold onto it. No matter how much money she was entitled to, it’ll all be

gone. She has no restraint in spending and is ignorant. She only knows how to throw a tantrum and

spend money wastefully.”

Trenton could feel at ease knowing that the Newman family was in Camryn’s hands. If it were to fall to

Carrie, he would rush home immediately to stop Carrie.

He knew his sisters inside out.

Carrie was spoiled rotten by her parents pampering her excessively.

“On second thought, you can’t give Carrie the inheritance. I’ll apply for a leave of absence to go home

and visit my parents in prison. I’ll ask them to transfer ownership of their companies to me. I can take

care of my sister’s basic expenses.”

Trenton thought of inheriting his parents' assets and providing for Carrie. He would ensure hernovelbin

necessities such as food and accommodation were met. There would be no chance of her spending

the money on whims.

He was their only son and even though they did not love him as much as they did Carrie, they

inculcated the importance of providing for the family when he grew up as he as their son would inherit

the family inheritance while wads of cash were the only thing allocated for Carrie.

Of course, Cain and Paige did not say it to Carrie’s face. They knew she would cause a commotion.

Carrie had always thought that everything that belonged to the Newmans was hers because she was

Cain and Paige’s favorite child.

She often told Trenton he had to be responsible and hone his skills well, so he could be independent

and start his own business instead of relying on his family.

After a short silence, Camryn said, “If you were to inherit everything belonging to your parents, Carrie

would bother you every day. You have to be prepared for that. You know her personality too.

“Carrie can resort to anything. She won’t go easy on you just because you’re her brother.”

Trenton smiled. “If my parents trust me and hand me the inheritance, I’ll transfer it to you afterward. It’s

useless for Carrie to make a fuss in front of me. She’ll be asking for trouble if she looks for you too.”
