Chapter 2547

“Carrie.”

Edward said softly, “Don’t be impulsive.”

He then smiled and spoke to the security guard, “We’ll just wait here; it’s not a big deal. We’ll enter

when Ms. Camryn is ready to see us.”

Carrie pursed her lips and remained silent, seething inside.

The person whom she used to scold at will was now out of her reach.

Being a woman who married into the York family made a big difference.

Camryn was not even legally married to Callum, merely engaged, but that alone set her apart as more

superior than Carrie.

In her heart, Carrie cursed and hoped that Callum would eventually grow tired of Camryn and abandonnovelbin

her. If that happened, she would buy a carload of fireworks to celebrate.

Upon receiving the security guard’s call, the butler replied, “Ms. Camryn has a younger sister who

previously harmed Ms. Serenity and was sent to prison by her. Is she out of prison now? Ms. Camryn

and her sister don’t have a good relationship. Her sister often bullies her. Let me ask Ms. Camryn

whether she wants to see her sister.

“If Ms. Camryn doesn’t wish to see them, then let them go.”

The security guard quickly obliged.

Fortunately, they were diligent and did not let anyone in simply because they mentioned Camryn’s

name.

Carrie had caused harm to Camryn in the past and treated her badly.

She had also lied about going on a trip. She was clearly not honest and she might not have good

intentions.

The butler personally went to the pavilion after the talk with the security guard.

Everyone sitting in the pavilion stopped their chatting as soon as they saw the butler walk in.

“What’s wrong?” Callum asked.

“Mr. Callum, Ms. Camryn, there’s a woman called Carrie Newman requesting to meet with Ms. Camryn.

Do you wish to meet her?”

Callum looked at Camryn.

Camryn extended her delicate hand, lifted the teapot from the stone table, and poured herself about

half a cup of tea. After refilling everyone else’s cups, she placed the teapot back down and then

leisurely lifted her own cup of tea.

She savored the fragrant tea at a leisurely pace, even complimenting it as excellent tea.

After finishing her tea, she casually said, “Tell her that if she has the capability, she can enter on

her own. Please refrain from disturbing me.”

The butler patiently waited for a few minutes, and once he received the response, he respectfully

acknowledged it and exited the pavilion to avoid any further disruptions to the group.

The butler promptly relayed the message to the security guards, conveying Camryn’s wishes.

Jasmine, unaware of Carrie’s situation, asked with a slight suspicion, “Isn’t Carrie Newman in jail right

now? If I remember correctly, she wasn’t scheduled to be released until next year. How did she get out

so soon?”

She looked at Josh, wondering why he was not aware of this matter either.

Josh innocently replied, “It’s none of my business. I’m not responsible for her life. I have better things to

do than to keep tabs on everyone.”

Jasmine chuckled, “You said it yourself. Nothing in Wiltspoon gets past you.”
