Chapter 2545

The Chandlers and Joyners were willing to accompany Carrie and provide moral support with this

sneaky plan.

Carrie was much easier to manipulate compared to Camryn.

They once thought Camryn was just a blind girl who liked to sell flowers and had underestimated her.

Little did they know that Camryn was the most formidable among the three children in the Newman

family. They had all been fooled by her.

“Carrie, we are here to help you. Initially, we were doing well in the company. But Camryn somehow

managed to manipulate a certain Mr. Mitchell, who then conspired with her to kick us out of the

company. It was her tactics that landed her the company.

“She is your sister by blood. After your parents were imprisoned, you weren’t home and Trenton was

still a kid. She overtook the Newman Enterprise without resistance, and even the top executives had

nothing to say because of this Mitchell guy assisting her.”

“Uncle Cain had always had an eye for people, but this time he fell for the tricks of that Mitchell fellow.

He was personally nurtured by our uncle, highly regarded, and even considered a potential match for

you. But who knew he would side with that blind woman.”

“Thanks to Uncle Cain’s trust in him, he had considerable influence within the company. We used to be

very cautious in front of him, trying to please him. We were afraid he might undermine us in our uncle’s

eyes.”

“Now, with our two families living like this, Carrie, you’ve seen it yourself. We just want to help you

regain everything. It might not be morally right, but we can’t make our point without you. For now, we

can only support you.”

Edward and Derrick spoke in reassuring tones.

“We know you don’t get along with Camryn, but we’re at a disadvantage right now. You should hold

back for a while, lower your head, please her, admit your mistakes, and when she lets her guard down, novelbin

you can reclaim what belongs to you and strike back at her.”

After a brief moment of thought, Carrie said, “Both of you made a valid point. I’ll try my best, but I can’t

guarantee that I’ll succeed. That mole rat has gone too far. Every time I see her, I just want to scratch

her face. It will be hard for me to try to get on her good side.”

The two cousins had no choice but to give her advice and guidance. They were fully aware that Carrie

had grown up spoiled by her parents, which had led to her bratty demeanor.

If not for her brash behavior, the Newman family would not have found themselves in this situation, with

a blind person taking the reins.

The Newmans would not have ended up in this situation, and both of the Chandlers and Joyners would

not have become impoverished, forcing them into hard labor to make ends meet.

When they occasionally ran into their old friends, they would be ridiculed for becoming mere laborers.

It was infuriating.

In times of wealth, they called each other “brothers” and acted amicably. However, in times of adversity,

these friends of theirs resorted to mockery, and some went out of their way to make things difficult for

them.

They did not want friends like these anymore.

If they ever flipped things around, those friends would get what was coming for them.

“Let’s get inside first. We’ll see how it goes once we meet that mole rat,” Carrie said as she took the

lead and headed toward the security booth at the entrance of the manor.

The security guard saw the three of them arriving in a taxi. He then saw them huddled together,

muttering, and whispering. He could not make out what they were saying, but he became wary of them.

After a while, the three approached the security booth.

The two security personnel on duty got out of the booth and waited for Carrie’s arrival. When she

approached, one of the guards asked, “May I know who you’re looking for?”

It was unusual for visitors to come by taxi.

The three of them arrived in a taxi, dressed in simple clothes. The guards had assumed they were

friends or relatives of one of the manor's workers.

Derrick, afraid that Carrie might insult the guard again, preemptively stepped forward. He handed the

security guard a cigarette and said, “Good day sir, we are close relatives to your future second missus.

The two of us are her cousins, and here is Ms. Carrie Newman, her younger sister.
