Chapter 2527

“As for her personal bank card, I have no means to freeze it. Couldn’t she spend her own money

though? Recently, she’s been swiping the credit card you gave her quite recklessly, so I decided to take

some action.”

“Her personal savings aren’t that much.”

Caroline laughed, “Not that much? With a net worth of ten million, do you think everyone is a

millionaire? There are people who will never earn that much in their lifetime, and is she still not

satisfied? Did she ask you to compensate her when you get back?

“She intentionally hit my car. I’ve asked people at the car dealership, and they said it will cost tens of

thousands to repair. If I don’t ask her to pay up, then who should I ask? She said it shouldn’t matter as

we’re sisters. Is she really my sister? Does she have Fisher's blood coursing through her veins? If she

has, then I won’t ask for compensation. But does she really?”

Belinda fell into silence.

“All those properties and commercial lots belong to her. When they’re rented out, she will have a

monthly rental income of tens of thousands, it could even total a hundred thousand. Doesn’t this

income already exceed that of others severalfold, if not dozenfold?

“Alright, it’s Celine’s fault, I’ll compensate you for the car damage when I get back. I’ll retract the credit

card she’s been using. I’ll let you reduce her allowance, don’t get so fired up alright? Don’t say Mom’s

biased again.”

Deep down, Caroline felt that Belinda was still being partial.

“Are you really letting me cut her allowance? If I do it, I’ll cut it to the bone. She’s not our blood. The

Fishers raised her and showed her kindness, she should be the one repaying the favor to the Fishers.

She owes that to the family but instead, she tries to bleed our fortune dry.

“Cancel her allowance and let her earn and spend her own money. Whatever she sends back, that can

be considered her way of repaying the family for raising her.”

Belinda replied, “Carol, she’ll make a big hoo-ha out of this.”

“If you’re afraid of her causing a scene, then don’t lie and say that you’re letting me handle it.”

Belinda fell silent once again.

“Carol, do you even consider me as your mom? You’ve been speaking very aggressively to me and

with a lot of sarcasm.”

Caroline said with a trace of frustration, “I’ve been working overtime at the company, working tirelessly

to secure the future of the Fisher family. But I haven’t heard a word of praise. Instead, I’ve been

reported and criticized by you and her. My patience has a limit, I too will get angry.

“Just because she cries to you and I don’t, does that make me the villain in this situation? You always

pity her.

“And now you don’t even let me speak my mind? She grew up with everything I wished I had. She grew

up with you by her side when it should’ve been me. Do you know how much hardship I had to endure,

growing up with her parents? She should be the one apologizing to me, and yet you treat me as if I owe

her an apology.”

Belinda did not even have a chance to speak as Caroline barraged her with grievances.

“It's not as if Celine's personal properties were acquired by herself. In my opinion, even her house,

shop lots, and vehicles should be reclaimed. She should go back to her biological parents.”

“Caroline, I admit I was wrong, alright? Let's not dwell on this any longer. When I return, I'll have a

serious talk with Celine. If you believe you can retrieve Celine's personal assets, go ahead. I won't

stand in your way.”

Caroline smirked for she had already started making her moves.

Celine had rented out her shops for businesses. Meanwhile, Caroline opened a similar store right next

to them, competing for customers and making things increasingly difficult for the other party.

Celine's tenants had already terminated their leases and moved out.

Nowadays, small businesses were struggling, and with Celine's tenants moving out, she found itnovelbin

challenging to find new tenants. Even if she managed to rent them out again, Caroline's competitive

endeavors might just chase her tenants away again.

Caroline's goal was to significantly reduce Celine's income, ultimately forcing her to sell her commercial

properties at a low price. Even then, it would prove to be a challenging sale.

Indeed, with Celine no longer in line to inherit the Fisher family's wealth, her aspirations for substantial

investments seemed rather unrealistic.

Caroline froze both Celine's allowance bank card and the credit card Belinda provided. Even when her

mother returned, she had no intention of unfreezing them, which meant Celine would have to dip into

her personal savings.

She wanted to gradually make Celine go bankrupt. Once Celine faced financial ruin and Belinda

stepped down, Caroline planned to assert her authority as the matriarch. Her primary objective would

be to banish Celine from the family, refusing to let the family's wealth rear someone unrelated by blood.

“Alright, I’m going to hang up. Don’t stay up too late and drive safely.”

After nagging her daughter, Belinda promptly hung up her phone.
