before knocking on one of the hotel room doors.
A young man opened the door and the man entered the room.
After the door shut, the visiting man said to the young man, “Tell Madam Fisher not to use the new
number. I’ll cancel that number later. It’s being investigated now.”
The young man was surprised, but said softly, “Already?”
The visitor was Mr. Gordon. “It’s Wiltspoon. With the powers the wealthy families possess, it’s easy for
them to sense if anything is off.
“Ms. Camryn is Mr. Callum York’s fiancée. Anything related to her will alert the York family.”
The young man thought Mr. Gordon had a point after thinking about the powerful families in Wiltspoon.
He said, “I’ll inform Madam Fisher to stop using the number, Mr. Gordon.”
“We can think of another way to stay in contact with Ms. Carrie. Planting someone in the Newman
family is the best possible way.”
All of the Newman family’s employees would prioritize Camryn and Carrie would have to hire a few
employees if she were to return. Only then could she stand equally against Camryn. Mr. Gordon
thought he could manipulate the hiring and have their allies be chosen.
