Chapter 2481

Lilian’s husband, Tim, disliked it when she visited the Yorks, especially when she praised Callum’s

cooking. He would also say that Lee’s cooking skills were comparable to Callum’s.

Lilian agreed that Lee’s and Callum’s cooking were similar, but there was still a distinction.

Moreover, Lee seldom cooked. As his sister-in-law, Lilian was too embarrassed to always ask her

brother-in-law to cook for her.

Thus, the best solution was to ask Callum to give some cooking tips to her personal chef.

Callum readily agreed.

Camryn and Callum watched as Lilian got into the car. Callum’s mom, Rosella, arranged a driver for

Lilian during her stay in Wiltspoon because she came specially to treat Camryn’s eyes. Rosella was

grateful and treated Lilian as an honored guest.

She also paid for all of Lilian’s expenses in Wiltspoon.

“Camryn, let’s go back inside. It’s quite hot out here.”

Callum took his fiancée’s hand and walked toward the main house.

When they got to the door, they heard someone shout, “Blind bitch!”

Callum was not familiar with the voice, but he was angry that someone called his fiancée a blind bitch.

On the other hand, Camryn was very familiar with that voice. The only person who would call her a

blind bitch so brazenly was her half-sister, Carrie.

Was Carrie released from prison?

Camryn was not aware.

She only knew that Carrie’s sentence was light and that she would be released soon. However,

Camryn did not bother to remember when. It should have been at the end of the year or early next

year.

Camryn did not expect Carrie to be released so soon.

“That’s Carrie, my half-sister.”

Camryn told Callum in a soft voice, “Don’t let her know that I can see for the time being.”

The workers in the Newmans’ villa, aside from the ones Callum hired, did not know that Camryn was

regaining her vision. The original staff did not notice because Camryn could always move aroundnovelbin

naturally in her own home, even when she was blind, so no one suspected that she had her eyesight

back.

All they knew was that Callum hired a miracle doctor to treat Camryn’s eyes, but they did not know the

outcome.

After Callum hired more staff who would only be loyal to his fiancée, the original staff had either

resigned or were marginalized to work on landscaping. The staff Callum hired would take care of

Camryn’s personal needs.

The former butler could not stand the changes and left.

The workers in the Newmans’ villa were basically new except for the few older staff who had never hurt

Camryn before.

Callum replied, “Of course, we can’t let her know.”

“Since she’s out, she will definitely make a fuss. Life has been too peaceful lately, so it’ll be fun to fight

with someone. You shouldn’t deal with her. Let me resolve this myself.”

Callum replied, “Fine. But you must come to me if you can’t solve it, not Dalton.”

“Dalton is already married, yet you still regard him as your love rival. I have always regarded Dalton as

my older brother, and I have never had any feelings for him.

“I’m sure Dalton thinks the same. Stop overthinking it.”

Callum hummed. “I know what he’s thinking.”

“When Dalton is around, you keep calling him ‘bro’. When he’s not here, you talk bad about him.

Callum, I didn’t know you were such a good actor until today!”

While walking with her to the entrance of the villa, Callum said, “I called him ‘bro’ to remind him of his

place. He can only be your brother, nothing more. You’re my wife, and I won’t allow anyone to take you

from me!”

Camryn said, “Stop talking, jealous freak.”

Callum laughed. “Jealousy is a unique trait of us York men!”
